Hello Everyone! This album is truly a gift. I was first introduced to this album in 1971. I was BLOWN AWAY by this album then! AND-I am even more BLOWN AWAY by this album now!!! I consider myself to be a good judge of QUALITY music. This my friends, Is QUALITY Music. "In My Mind", I have created categories into which I think certain music should fall under. This Music is at the TOP OF THE LIST of "The Most Beautiful Music Ever Made" Category!!! Fraser and Debolt along with Ian Guenther are ONE. In Perfect Harmony TOGETHER. UNIFIED by LOVE,WARMTH,and PLEASURE. Performed "Live In The Studio", this Trio could not be any tighter! TRULY, THREE SOULS IN COMMUNION. One might make a comparison perhaps to the Beautiful Harmonies of "Brewer and Shipley" on the "WEEDS" Album. This is also placed at the TOP of the "In My Mind" Category in this genre. TIMELESS, BEAUTIFUL, this album Transcends what can only be described as "PERFECTION". "In MY Mind" May the SOUL and ENERGY of this music radiate into yours. Peace and Love. ENJOY!

Warmest congratulations to those who have made the effort to reissue this great album! Every once in a while since the early `80's when CD's came in, the vague hope would surface in my mind that this collection would somehow appear on CD, a one in a million chance.

My last search a few years ago resulted in my purchasing one of Daisy Debolt's more recent albums, but there was no hint whatever of a reissue of past albums, so I pretty well resigned myself to that outcome.

Since obtaining it in 1976, I have regularly pulled out and always enjoyed hearing again this album that I long ago transferred to tape in order to maintain the original vinyl in decent shape. The total absorption in the music of these musicians, a sort of rough-edged approach whose loyalty seems to be to the songs and not to corporate music producers is timeless.

The original liner notes, easily findable by searching Fraser and Debolt on the internet, convey in a totally accurate way the incredible quality of this album, so I don't really need to add anything else except to say "trust the liner notes" in this case.

To my admittedly untrained ear, the transfer from analogue sources to CD is excellent, and of course the rumble, clicks and noises of the old vinyl album are gone (except for track 8 where apparently the original tapes are not available, but the song is belted out so loud you won't notice anything once things get going).

However, a fly in the ointment for some could be that, as far as I can see, there is no sign on the packaging or the disk itself of the "ADD" mark that would confirm the remastering from phono to digital equalization.

But I'm very confident that most listeners will totally enjoy the full-blooded, endlessly fascinating lyrics and instrumentals, including the stunning fiddle playing of Ian Guenther which I confess led me to buy the album in the first place.

Hopefully with the internet's reach, this album will finally resurface as the gem which it is and at last provide Daisy, Allan, and Ian with some well-deserved financial rewards in the form of long overdue royalties.

This is probably the greatest unknown album in the world. It is a melody of exquisite matched voices and the most vocal guitar playing you will ever hear. In addition the songs are magnificent as well.

I own 5 vinyl copies of this album. It remains my favorite piece of music ever and I bought the CD reissue last week. As to it's legality, I can only say that the second half of the album appears to have been mastered from vinyl. That is not normal for a legal sanctioned work.
