I had this fan for quite a while and recently I changed it with another brand. Reason mainly because I wanted to get a quieter fan, but more importantly because a rotor blade fell off... or worse... two. The first one off made the fan considerably louder and when I decided to get a new one, I realised a second blade was missing (which I found a couple of weeks ago after deciding it was time to do clean the insides). To be quite honest... I have no idea how blades can fall off unless something touches the fan whilst it's operating (and you'd hear that by either banging or any other quite disturbing noise) which wasn't the case -- -- or simply because of poor quality (maybe a bad batch?). Anyhow... in my case I'd go for the latter. I've got ArticCooling ones now and no rotor blades fell off yet.
