とりあえず、やりたいことを詰め込めるだけ詰め込んだ感じで、
色々聞けてよかったです。
次にどんなアルバム作ってくれるか楽しみです。
あと、チャイニーズ・デモクラシーよりもこっちのアクセルのほうが
いいような。。

Angel Down is great. Sebastian is back!

Great songs, great lyrics, great melodies. Metal Mike has some awesome guitars. Bobby plays drums hard and loud!

Axl and Sebastian are great together on 'Back in the Saddle'.

待ちに待たされたSebastian Bachのソロとして純粋なフルアルバム。

内容は･･･佳作といったところでしょうか。
色々なタイプの曲が詰まっており、
色々なSebastian Bachの歌声が楽しめます。
これを色とりどりと取るか、統一感がないと取るかは、
個人の「アルバム」に対するこだわりによるところかと。

全編、所謂「今風」のヘヴィでスタイリッシュな音作りになっており、
SKID ROWの独特のクサさを求めると、肩透かしを食らうかなとは思いますが
Sebastian Bachの歌声は、衰えを感じません。

独特の枯れた声や高音。
Sebastian Bachの歌声に魅了された人間としては
楽曲の雰囲気よりも、この歌唱に「これだよ！これ！」と叫びたくなります。

「Sebastian Bachに何を求めているか」によって評価が分かれるかと思います。
私は、純粋に再びSebastian Bachの歌声が聴けて、純粋に嬉しい。

ソロで、こんなにも良質なALBUM 作れるならSKID ROWへの復帰なんて未練は、ファンとして無くなりなした

I love this album ! There's some great music, vocals and guitars and a good cover of an old Aerosmith song. Bought for an unbeleivable price. Certainly one of my better purchases of late. I wish I had bought it years ago !

this album has everything in it..heavy, rock, rock ballad, anyways with Sebastian you'd expect that kind of music ..he has an incredible voice + with the borrowed talent of musicianship to play the music that he needs..great album 5 stars

I just cannot express enough how awesome this album is and how much it rules. No album since the mid 90's has made me feel the way this album makes me feel. For years and years, I have been wanting the true rock to return! Bands like Guns N' Roses, Skid Row/Sebastian Bach, Def Leppard, Aerosmith, Scorpions and many others.

Among all the Rap and Hip Hop, I never thought I'd be able to really enjoy a true rock album again. A true rock album that just does what it's supposed to do. Amazing, screaming vocals, thundering drums, incredible guitar solos and songs with melody that you can sing along to. I really was losing faith in the rock genre. People just kept wanting to hear rap and hip hop instead of true talents like Sebastian Bach and Guns N' Roses who really take the time and you can just hear how much work they put into their music.

What moves me in rock, what I feel rock is all about is on this album. Sebastian Bach's voice is just as good as it was years ago when he was in Skid Row. I just totally LOVE the way he'll scream and he actually SINGS!

My all time favorite song, my #1 all time favorite song from this album is none other than the incredible ballad, By Your Side. Again, words just cannot describe how awesome this song is. I can only say that By Your Side is officially tied with I Remember You for not only my favorite ballad from Sebastian but my favorite song!! By Your Side just completely takes my breath away like I Remember You. MTV should be playing this song and all the women and teen girls should be falling in love with this song just like they did with I Remember You! Again, By Your Side is a TOTAL masterpiece!! I am a female and wish to God By Your Side would be just as successful as I Remember You. It saddens me that it probably won't even get in the top 20. I just cannot express how AMAZING, AWESOME, INCREDIBLE By Your Side is!

Falling Into You, my second favorite from the album, is ALMOST as good as By Your Side. I mean it's just about up there but just a tad below By Your Side. It's a collaboration with the incredible producer, Desmond Child. I just totally love this as well with the awesome guitar solo and melody. I might actually have a 3 way tie for my favorite ballad one day. This song really moves me almost as much as By Your Side and I Remember You. It's another total masterpiece and the perfect ending to the album!

Now for the rockers. I have to say I have a bunch of songs tied for my favorite rocker on this album. Like I said before, words can't really describe how much I love this so there are a lot that just totally ROCK!! You Don't Understand I would probably pick as my #1 favorite rocker if hard pressed!! I mean, gosh, where do I start? The whole sound is totally ROCK all the way!! It has melody and the awesome guitar solos and has the classic Skid Row sounds that made me a fan to begin with!! So yeah if I ultimately had to pick my favorite rocker from this album, You Don't Understand is it! This is ROCK itself!!

One of the coolest things about this album is not only Bach doing vocals but Axl Rose from Guns N' Roses lending his amazing voice!! He sings on Back In The Saddle which not only is the Aerosmith cover but it's tied with You Don't Understand for my favorite rocker. Axl and Bach are just so incredible on this song and they completely do the song justice. I really will be playing this song loud from my car speakers! Stuck Inside is another rocker tied for my favorite with Axl on vocals. I really love this rocker. It's really hard to describe how much I love this. It is heavy but I just love it. It's one of the heaviest songs on the album.

(Love Is) A Bitchslap sounds kind of like Piece Of Me which is another all time favorite. This is what rock albums should sound like! It has such an incredible guitar solo and Axl of course is awesome on this! American Metalhead kind of reminds me of a mixture between Monkey Business from Slave To The Grind and something that Metallica or Megadeth would do. It's definitely very heavy but it's so awesome. I love Bach's vocals!! Bach screams so awesome in this! Negative Light is a very fast paced rocker. Bach sings very fast in this song in the verses and I love the way he sings the chorus. This is probably the fastest song on the album. I really love the unique guitar solo too. It ROCKS!!

Live & Die is another rocker tied for my all time favorite rocker on this album. This is again, TRUE ROCK!! The way he sings and screams and the melody and just everything goes perfectly! If I had to pick an ultimate second favorite rocker, this would be it! I just LOVE melody in rock!! That's why ultimately, You Don't Understand and Live & Die are my #1 and #2 favorite rockers off this album!! Another masterpiece!! Our Love Is A Lie is actually another tie for favorite #1 rocker. This is again another classic sounding rocker that just makes me want to blast from my car. This sounds like something that Skid Row's debut would have. It does ROCK and RULE!! And I just cannot get enough of his scream!!

Take You Down With Me is yet another favorite that is tied for my favorite rocker on the album. The melody, the way Bach sings and everything just screams ROCK!! The guitar playing is just so awesome and unique. I love it when the guitarists really do all these things to show off their skill. I call it guitar gymnastics. It's so awesome beyond words! Stabbin' Daggers is another unique rocker. I love the guitar sounds! It's guitar playing and these sounds I don't hear on any of the other songs. I totally LOVE it and the two guitar solos, WOW!!!! Angel Down is the perfect opener. I love this really cool opening part that sounds like you're watching some really creepy horror movie and then you hear this heavy and melodic metal track. I just totally love Bach's vocals on this. It's the perfect opener! You just cannot get a better opener than this! The way the guitar solo is is just so unique and you can't deny the awesome screaming!

You Bring Me Down is another awesome rocker that is really heavy. I really love the structure of the verses most, Bach's vocals and of course the guitar solo. It reminds me a lot of Slave To The Grind. It's just so awesome!

Like I have said from the beginning, it's so hard to put all my thoughts about this into words. Bach has brought us a true hard rock album and it should be up there on the charts like Skid Row's debut. You Don't Understand, By Your Side and the cover of Back In The Saddle with Axl should be played on MTV and radio stations. This is a TRUE masterpiece and TRUE rock album! We need the ROCK back! Enough of the rap and hip hop taking over. THIS is what music is all about! Sebastian Bach made a total masterpiece that everyone should be playing in their car and at home. I know I will be listening to this album nonstop until Chinese Democracy comes out and then I'll be listening to Angel Down and Chinese Democracy. BUY THIS NOW!! The music industry needs albums like this to survive!!

Zunächst: Ich war wahrscheinlich einer der grössten Skid Row Fans überhaupt! Deshalb habe ich mich auch schon so auf das Album gefreut! Ich habe Sebastian vor rund eineinhalb Jahren live am Novarock gesehen und war echt erstaunt, dass er noch immer das leisten kann, was er bei Skid Row zum Besten gegeben hat.
Nun zum Album: Ich kann einigen der früheren Rezensionen nur Zustimmen, dass heute nun mal nicht mehr die 80er sind. So klingt das Album auch. Wenn man sich aber reinhört, erkennt man, dass einige Songs ohne weiters Platz auf einer "Slave", oder einer "Subhuman Race" hätten. Jedenfalls ist das, was Bach hier geliefert hat um vieles Besser, als der Schrott, den Skid Row seit ihrer "Reunion" abliefern.
Wenn man also, wie ich, musikalisch ein wenig den alten Zeiten hinterher weint, aber trotzdem die neuen Sounds zu schätzen weiss, ist man mit diesem Album bestens bedient. Das Songwriting ist ohne weiters durchgängig, die Stimme für das Alter hervorragend, und der melancholische Wert unbezahlbar!
