スウェーデンのシンフォニックロックバンド、ビアードフィッシュのアルバム。2008作
前作の続編ということだが、どんなコンセプトなのかは詳細は不明。
今作もハモンドなどを掻き鳴らし、70's英国ロック風の演奏はより深みを増しており、
やわらかなメロディをまじえながら、ほんのりと北欧風味も忘れないのが見事。
しかし、このレトロなセンスは、その本気ぶりもさることながら、
ロックとしてのグルーブ感がしっかり曲を支えているのもなかなか素晴らしい。
これはもはやオルガンロックの傑作といってもよいほどだが、よくよく聴けば、
ちゃんと現代的な構築性を持っているので、決して古くさいだけではないのである。
最後には35分の大曲が待ち構えていて、本作が大変な力作であると知れる。

Semplicemente fantastico, peccato si siano sciolti. Il meglio del prog dagli anni 70 ai giorni nostri. Anche gli altri album sono capolavori

Having listened to Beard fishes new album first I have to say this is more what I imagined them to sound like with keyboards
As the sun sets is little more than an intro but it uses some interesting keyboard sounds and into the night Opens with yet more keyboard but it sounds a little bit more classic which is not a good or bad thing but It add the melodic part that felt missing from The Void so they probably should have kept the Keyboards kudos for trying new things ANYWAY this is about Sleeping in the traffic. Into The Night has some very brilliant vocals in it with high falsettos dancing and then some very nice highs and mids the vocals suit perfect. The Drums on this album are very marchy and push the songs forward. Something about this album I noticed is some of the lyrics are humourous which is always a good thing. The Bass playing is quite basic but suits the music very well as this music is complex but is complex as whole rather than with each individual the overall music makes it more complicated that said the bass does play a lead element in places which is cool and is quite melodic in it's own right.
This particular album sound rather like it would be at home in the 70's prog explosion, Definatley a Fine fine album

Diese Fortsetzung erinnert nicht nur an alte Gentle Giant Tage...

GODLEY & CREME und das grandiose Album *L* sind anscheinend von den Toten auferstanden !!! - Sooo viele musikalische Einfälle kann man doch gar nicht mehr haben... in der heutigen Prog - Welt... Oder etwa doch...???

Beardfish sprüht vor Genialität, Einfallsreichtum und Können...!!!

Kopfhörer aufsetzen... und abtauchen in eine wundersame, rockig - melodiöse Welt...

Ich habe lange auf so viel Ideenreichtum warten müssen...
