Danny Elfmanのサントラが炸裂！！

映画のちょっとダークな雰囲気
ジェームズ・マカヴォイが冴えない会社員から暗殺組織に巻き込まれていく顛末を、
不穏だけどイケてるジョリー達への憧れ、溜まっていたフラストレーションを爆発させていゆくところを
素晴らしく表現していると思います。

特に3曲目のFraternity Suite が最高！
不穏なコーラスから始まり、最後のFateのメロディにつながって最高に盛り上がります。

アンジェリーナ・ジョリー＆ジェームズ・マカヴォイ主演、
『ナイト』＆『デイ・ウォッチ』のロシア（カザフ）人監督ハリウッドデビュー作『ウォンテッド』のサントラ。

作曲家にはロシア人が起用されるのかなと思いきや
ベクマンベトフ監督に指名されたのは意外や意外のダニー・エルフマン！！！

アルバム１曲目の“THE LITTLE THING”がこの映画の主題歌で
作詞・作曲・熱唱byダニー・エルフマン。

ダニー・エルフマン自らが歌声を披露しているとなると
かつての所属バンド「オインゴ・ボインゴ」時代の楽曲や
名作『ナイトメアー・ビフォア・クリスマス』を想起されるかたも多いかと思いますが、
これがバリバリのアメリカン・ハード・ロック！
本当にクールでカッコいいです！！

全１５曲、最後までこの調子で、作品との相性の良さを感じさせる曲構成となっています。

買って損はありません。

続編にもダニー・エルフマンが起用されることを期待して星５つ！！

日本版のサントラが出てないなんて・・・
でも、映画を観て劇中で使用されてる音楽がインパクトあって良い感じだったんで、多少時間はかかりましたが、このCDを取り寄せましたよ。
サントラの中には、劇中使用曲を収録しない、ロックミュージックのオムニバスアルバムかと思うようなモノもあるので心配したんですが、
重厚でいて刺すような緊迫感あふれるBGMの数々が堪能出来ました。
映画そのものも、アクション等、目を見張るようなシーンがあり、それなりに楽しめましたが、総じて「トンデモ・アサシン映画」といえるでしょう。
途中まで結構ハラハラドキドキものの手に汗握る展開になってたのに、
遥か昔から脈々とその組織を維持し続けてきた暗殺団の暗殺団たる存在の源が【機織り機が記す暗号を使った暗殺の標的予言】なんだもの・・・。
お札に隠された秘密結社からのメッセージ・・とか、聖書に記された神からの暗号・・とか、核心がそんなオカルトレベルの話になっちゃったのが残念。
でも、映像も、この音楽もゾクゾクする程カッコイイ。
主人公の設定(平凡なうえに、日常に欝屈感を抱える負け組系。本人は知らないけど実は大物の血をひいている。特訓などによって眠っていた能力に目覚める。)は、バトルマンガなんかではありがちなパターンではあるかな・・・

単純にスターウォーズのリメイクと言うかパロディなんですけどね。
アンジーはレイア＋ハンの折衷と言った所でしょうか。
マトリックスやパイレーツ〜でもSWを骨子としたストーリーが展開されていましたが
ちょっと意地悪にしている分これも良く出来た方だったと思います。
サントラ的にはダニーエルフマンの主題歌は耳に強く残ります。かつてのバットマンのコンポーザーが
ダークナイトと同時期のこの映画で声を披露しているのは興味深い。

もともとアンジーが大好きなのですが、この映画のアンジーが特にかっこよくて大好き！
主題歌とアクションがすごく合ってて、あの歌欲しいなぁと思いサントラ盤を見つけて購入しました！
ですが、実際曲だけを聴いてガッカリ…
映画の躍動感はどこへやら。
映像と一緒に聴くからこそ活きる曲だったのだなと思いました。

『マトリックス』で始まり、『ファイト・クラブ』で去勢去れた自信を取り戻す。『カソンドラクロス』で父親を殺し。覚醒。ガン＝カタで内部にカチコミ。『実録　連合赤軍』で内部粛正。最後はマイケル・ウイナーの『メカニック』で締めくくる。否の付けようのないアクション映画。脳内エンドルフィン100％放出状態。

I mainly purchased this to get the song, "The Little Things" but was very pleased by the rest of the material. All of the other songs are instrumental, and make up the score of the movie. Personally, I did not really realize how good the score was while watching the movie, but the soundtrack really makes you appreciate how well it was done. I definitely recommend this.

Hanebüchene Handlung, eine unglaubwürdige Verschwörungstheorie und geniale visuelle Effekte. Das alles macht die Comicverfilmung zu einem Highlight, natürlich auch wegen der Besetzung, allen voran James McAvoy als seine beengenden Lebensumstände ändernder Feigling und der wie immer sympathische Morgan Freeman. So viel zum Film.
Die Musik ist nicht minder brillant und stammt aus der Feder des comicversierten (Spider Man 2; Tim Burton's Batman und Batman Returns) Danny Elfmal, der sich hier erneut übertrifft und eines Comics würdige Melodien geschaffen hat. Als Bonus singt er auch mal wieder (siehe Tim Burton's Nightmare before Christmas) und das auch noch in einer überragenden Rock-Pop-Nummer. Alle Daumen hoch für den Meister der Komposition für ausgefallene Filme (Edward Scissorhands, Terminator Salvation...). Ein absolutes Must habe!

Excellent soundtrack we loved the film now we play this in the car and it takes us right back to the action, Angelina is awesome and the story a real twisting adventure with amazing special effects.

This soundtrack is to my mind Elfman's best work ever. Listening to the CD with my earphones it became a piece of classical music. It is so beautiful that I kept repeating the whole CD over and over. I also love "Little Things" which is a hit by itself, but of a different genre.

I don't understand the negative reviews at all. It's a brilliant piece of work and I can't recommend it highly enough. For lovers of soundtracks or Prokofiev alike, it's a stunner.

I've only reviewed one other work as I rarely have time to do this, but i just had to put in my two cents here.

Wanted would not be the simply 'awesome' film it is without Elfman's score: by the end of the movie when you hear the prominent main success theme again, already it brings a sense of nostalgia derived from the opening (on the first watch!). "The Little Things", a recording with Danny Elfman singing himself (not since Jack in the Nightmare Before Christmas that I've seen/heard/know of), adds a certain edge to the silky orchestral score that accompanies each and every scene. "The Train", "Fox In Control" & "Exterminator Beat" highlight the most exciting material, where "Success Montage", "Fox's Decision" & "Welcome to the Fraternity" are more subtle and erudite. However much of the bulk of the tracks in between memorable themes feel like 'filler' material where nothing interesting is going on. I noticed the better tunes were elaborated upon in the video game adaption "Weapons Of Fate", however I can't seem to find any official release of this material and doubt there was. Four stars because being on the short side this soundtrack could have included more of the better prevalent sequences, never mind repetition. Generally each interesting theme is only heard once or twice, resulting in little or no variation - which was NOT the case in the film itself.
