前作"Creative Force"の続編として製作された教則DVDです。
冒頭でPat自身がその点にまず言及してます。
内容はDiminished Scaleから始まり、その点を基礎に発展させたスケールや理論解説が中心です。
今回はDVDの内容を基にしたデモ･ライヴ演奏はありませんので、終始パット自身の理論･スケール解説になります。
また、前作同様リージョンALLですが、今回は日本語字幕付きで、非常に分かり易いです。ほとんどのDVD機器で視聴可能かと思います。
是非、前作DVD"Creative Force"を併せてお薦めします。

ne vous attendez a trouver des solos entierement ecrit comme le THE BEST Of Pat Martino ...reléves de wolf Marshall chez Hal Leonard que je recommande vivement a ceux qui ont le niveau technique ..
celui ci est plus pres du REH Hotline serie JAZZ de Pat Martino
avec des phrases , des plans ...partition en clé de sol , pas de tablature a proprement parlé , mais une espéce de truc bizarre dont DON Mock a le secret ....partition ecrite en gros , extremement pratique ...je conseille les trois ouverages cités dans mon commentaire ...le Best of cité plus haut est vraiment génial aussi ..

Just want let know to any potential non US (European) customer, that these HOT LICKS DVD are not REGION 1 DVD (as indicated) but are actually REGIONS FREE, that's mean you can read it on any DVD reader in the world, and that's true for every HOT LICKS DVD i've bought so far.

The first 17+min is a review of 'Creative Force'. We -have- the other DVD if we need a review! // Pat isn't the greatest teacher: His riffs contain notes that aren't explained by the theories being discussed, his language is obtuse, & tho it's impressive, it's not instructive to hear so much unexplained riffing between comments. SO WHY FIVE STARS? To witness the thought process of a guy who plays so damn well! Jimmy Bruno & Robert Conti are two -top- players who are -much- more in tune with educational methods & language, but, to be blunt, they don't play as well as Martino. Is the difference here, in this DVD? I hope so, I think so, & I hope to to grasp it: Skip to c52min for some awe-inspiring single note instruction.
