Ordered this album cd on April 19th, 2023. &
Received this album cd yesterday on April 24th, 2023.
This album cd was the last one in the stock, I was so lucky that I've got this 😄
It was my wish that this should've been the 'Expanded Edition' of the album, but I'm happy, at least now that I own a copy of the album...
So I'm Kartik and here's my detailed review about this album.
Actually I've already listened to all the tracks on this album previously, But I think that I should have an Audio CD to feel all the nostalgic vibes of that time, because I was a kid back in 2008, so I didn't have any idea about all these things, I was oblivious about internet and social media, so I just wanted to relive all that era and my childhood again. And after knowing the things and trends about that time, I've realised that so many things I missed as a kid, so to fulfill a little bit of that, I started to collect albums and other stuffs of Lenka.
I discovered Lenka back in 2012, and this album was released back in September, 2008.(Damn! It's been almost 15 years!!! Time Flies...) so I was already 4 years late... But for the first time, when I listened to Lenka's voice, I just fell in Love with Lenka and her voice. Her voice is so sweet, melodious, soothing, natural & of course amazing. I love her whimsical melodic folk-pop style, and I also love her choice of writing her songs in Indie/Alternative genre, which sounds unique and offbeat in an amazing way. her songs are mostly upbeat and have a bright melodic tone. Lenka has a different view & deep understanding of life, she tends to write songs like a kid, and her voice also matches with it as well. After listening to these melodies (and all other melodies of her too), you get the feeling that life is whimsy, beautiful, wonderful & mysterious and sometimes sad, as someone mentioned that, I totally agree with that, her songs in this album have the essence of pure innocence, peace, love & deep understanding of life, each song from this album conveys different emotions and feelings, Lenka have the art to put so complex and so many deep emotions through simple yet so profound and powerful words, and singing it beautifully too! & she just nailed this, each and every word of the songs of this album have so many layers to them. This album's songs takes you to a whimsy like otherworldly feeling. It feels like a rollercoaster ride of the childhood, adolescence and every other feeling, and it hits you with huge waves of nostalgia. After listening to this album you feel like a child full of innocence and loveliness, this album will leave you awestruck and thinking, I simply can't get enough of the album even after so many years of regular listening. Each and every melody of this album is a gem and this album has & will always have a very special place in my heart 💕... I can also describe each and every song from this album separately, that too with the same length as this, but as I said the review would become too long.
And I also want all of you to figure out the essence & emotion you feel, just by listening to the entire album by yourself. I bet you'll have a lovely experience just by listening to this wonderful, unique & amazing album, This album makes you happier and life loving person...
