I bought the korg nanokontrol with the intension of using it with Final Cut Pro and soundtrack pro, unfortunately it is not compatible with those programs. The korg nanoKontrol is very well built the sliders move smoothly buttons are nice etc, and it would be a nice addition to any small studio. I tried it with cubase and logic it works very well. Although I may return it and buy a tascam fw1082, since I know it is compatible with both Final Cut and Soundtrack pro. Overall it is a great piece of equipment if it is compatible with the software you use.
This thing is amazing, compact size, great faders and knobs, and you can configure it to use it with any software that reads midi, traktor, live, cubase, anything. Works amazing!
4.0Works like a dream! EASY to use with Sonar X1. BUT it's like only having 9 sliders/faders

I was a little skeptical that for under 50$ this would do the job but all my worries were put to rest within 30 minutes of opening it! It's a little more than 12" long and a little over 3" wide. It's very portable and feels suprisingly solid. I manually configured it with sonar x1 Studio and it took me no more than 10 minutes with a little help from google. The sliders all are smooth and easy moving, but NOT loose, and the panning knobs work like a charm. If your producing music from a small home studio like me this is definately a must have!
(Updated after a week of having it) -----> The ONLY bad thing about this is that when you change "scenes" It will flash all your levels to the levels the last scene were set to. If you adjust the slider for a track to lets say +3db, when you change scenes, the track that the slider is now assigned to will jump to +3db as well. Great for the price still, but really using the scenes is more trouble than convienience, at least with sonar x1 studio. Hope this helps!
