Popped this into my old school CD player and was immediately transported back in time!! This album was a staple back in the day and still holds it's own.
Sehr coole Scheibe!
A five star rock album we have here. Tommy Bolin takes up the strat and stands dead centre. Filling the shoes of Joe Walsh you`d think would be a hard act to follow but, Tommy just glimmers in his own aura. Bringing amazing musicianship, songs, ideas, and Bolin admirers with him the guy breathes new life into an old band, 1st two tracks are knock out killers but the 4th Alexis is a special song Tommy pulls out of his hat, a number that could almost be his Stairway to heaven signiture. You will even find this Alexis on his solo Teaser album. starts slow and quiet building into a guitar driven frenzy at the end. A great James gang CD.
