もう10回位見ました。
iPodに入れて折りにふれて見ています。

自分の芸術については寡黙なエグルストンがリラックスして語ります。
30分程の短いものですが、かっこいい台詞の嵐、名言のマシンガン！
泣けます。

ライカM6にワインダー（しかしダイアル等が銀ということは逆パンダ？それともライカアラカルト？でもそうならワインダーは小さいよね）、レンズはコシナのノクトン35mm f1.2の限定白モデルだな　などと一時停止しながら考えるのもまた楽しかったりします。

ということで僕は大満足です（現在進行形）。

I have always been inspired by Eggelston's work after a friend suggested I check out one of his books, 'William Eggelston's Guide.' This short but sweet film gives a brief view of the artist using his own words to describe his work/methods. It's not long enough and I'd much rather meet the man in person for tea or whisky and shoot the s*** while walking around shooting the s*** together.

Eggleston is an iconic photographer and this short documentary captures his vision through interviews with him and people around him. But best of all it follows him as he shoots pictures in locations where others would simply drive by. A little slice of photographic history.

This is a better video overview of Eggleston and his work than "Life in the Real World". The producers of "Life..." seemed more interested in making Eggleston and his associates and family into a reality TV program than in illuminating his art. "Photographer" emphasizes the pictures and the artist at work. It is illuminating in this regard. The only fault of the video is the brevity. I was left wishing for more.

an average documentary film..
Despite the fact that it attempts to present the photographer and his work , it merely manages to do so thoroughly. It provides very little insight on his complex personality and makes hardly any reference to his influence on modern photography..
Also very short..in length.
Not exactly a disappointment but far below my expectations
