メインはクートゥア対ノゲイラのレジェンド対決。
パンチで２度、クートゥア選手をダウンさせたノゲイラ選手だが、そこからパウンドにもサブミッションにも持って行けず、結局は判定決着となりました。
スリーパーでも決められそうな場面もありましたが、やはりクートゥア選手が上手いのか、逃げられてしまいました。
ノゲイラ選手には柔術マジシャンと言うニックネームがありますが、ＵＦＣに来てからサブミッションでの１本勝ちはシルビア戦の１試合しかありません。
あのヒョードルでさえ判定でしか勝てなかった、ミルコ選手やシュルト選手からも１本勝ちしているノゲイラ選手。
全盛期のサップ選手からも関節技で１本勝ちしていますが、最近はちょっと寂しくなりましたね。
あの芸術的なサブミッションをもう一度復活させて欲しいです。
ちなみに弟のホジェリオ選手も１０６でＵＦＣデビューしています。

Although I find these horribly lame and impossible to sit through...my husband likes to watch this junk and says he liked this one ;)
Must mention that he couldn't think of anything specifically fantastic about this particular set, just that it was good. Hardly shocking, they all seem the same to me.

Most MMA fans knew Randy Couture Vs Minotauro Nogueira was a dream fight but not many predicted it would produce an octogon classic! Both heavyweight legends displayed blistering moments of action both in the stand up on the ground in an epic war. It was the highlight of a very entertaning card.

Marcus Auerelio Vs Evan Dunham- Lightweight 3/5
Decent BJJ Vs Wrestling fight.

Nick Catone Vs Mark Munoz- Middleweight 3/5
Lots of back and forth action with a close decision

Todd Duffee Vs Tim Hague- Heavyweight 4/5
Fastest KO in UFC history made here!

Ed Herman Vs Aaron Simpson- Middleweight 3/5
Another good fight with a brutal injury.

Justin McCully Vs Mike Russow- Heavyweight 2/5
Pretty poor fight actually that painfully needed a finish.

Gabriel Gonzaga Vs Chris Tuchschere- Heavyweight 4/5
Very good bloody battle. Get ready to wince at the low blow.

Main Card:

Brandon Vera Vs Krysztof Soszynski- Light Heavyweight 3/5
Could've (and should've) been a lot better but still a worthy fight with Vera showing his well roundedness.

Nate Marquart Vs Demian Maia- Middleweight 4/5
Blink and you'll miss it!

Chris Leben Vs Jake Rosholt- Middleweight 4/5
Very good fight with Leben embracing performing in his home town of Portland. Excellent finish too.

Thiago Silva Vs Keith Jardine- Light Heavyweight 4/5
Another smash n' grab KO.

Randy Couture Vs Antonio Minotaro Nogueira- Heavyweight 5/5
One of the greatest fights in UFC history from the heavweight legends. My reccomendation is that you buy this DVD for this epic fight alone.
