Il DVD è arrivato in tempo e in perfetto ordine.
Avevo deciso l'acquisto per esercitarmi con l'inglese e sono rimasta spiacevolmente sorpresa del fatto che il DVD non ha sottotitoli in inglese o in altre lingue.
Nelle caratteristiche del DVD che ho consultato prima di acquistarlo questo non era precisato.
Non l'ho restituito sperando di migliorare comunque e arrivare (presto o tardi) ad una perfetta comprensione.

Like the original American series, the stories are relevant and thought-provoking. For Canadians like me, there's a nice familiarity with the wigs and robes. But I have to admit, sometimes, I'm thankful for the subtitles because the UK often uses different slang and colloquialisms. Just waiting on Season 3!

I really enjoyed Season 1 of this series, so I purchased Season 2 as well. I do get BBC America and can view episodes on demand, but I find that the closed captioning is pretty spotty with that delivery system, and the rapid-fire English accented dialogue will lose you in a heartbeat if you are a poor Yank like me.
THe DVD Box set gives you several captioning options, and the captions are not intrusive . The series itself is a very interesting take on the regular L&O show most folks are used to. Since the justice system works a bit differently in the UK, you will get an inside look at another country's way of dealing with the investigation and prosecution of crimes.Plus,grown men in wigs? How neat is that?
