Sambassadeur started as the world of DIY's answer ABBA in the year 2003. They lead an explosive Swedish pop movement which achieved overnight indie fame (thanks to the MP3 spreading kids!) and reached the sales charts. The band has flirted with lo-fi indie pop, Velvet Underground and The Jesus and Mary Chain in the past, but with each subsequent album their sound has grown and matured.
