ここ数年では一番の衝撃

Siaは顔を出さない歌手など、話題先行としてあまり好感をもっておらず聴いておりませんでしたが、
あるときyoutubeで聴いたClap Your Hands、The Co-Dependentを聴き認識を大変換しました。
ゴティエやFUN.などの80年代的なPOPと若干のエレクトロニカにやられます。
曲調などはまるで違いますがビョークをはじめて聞いたときの衝撃です。
聴かず嫌いであった期間が恨めしい。

I heard SIA recently parodied her song "Clap Your Hands" into 'Crap Your Pants'
at one of her recent concerts. What a great sense of humor she has ! LMAO ! !
I just cannot get into American "Adult-Pop" Artists like Lady Ga-Ga, Britney Spears,
and Christina Aguilera, etc. Not to DIS them at all...they have obvious talent,
but that music has no Soul (imho).

I like SIA's melancholy painful ballads ok, but no Artist can continue to make the
same Style of music forever and still remain inspired, and free from total Writer's Block.

With this Dynamite new album, SIA just might finally break out of her shell,
and Status as "Indie Unknown", and start gaining some real Global notoriety
and Fame, which she SO deserves ! Everyone I turn on to this album just LOVES it.
How can you DIS "lightning in a bottle", when it comes along. It just doesn't happen that often.

I was a bit "on the fence" before with SIA, I must admit. I LOVED some of her music,
and some of it just did not hold my attention or move me. Now I am just over the moon
with her, and more apt to investigate her earlier works a little closer.

Sometimes it takes a true Artist a few tosses at the Dartboard before they hit a 'Bullseye'.
Thank God JIVE Records has granted SIA enough time to develop, and prove that she is capable of
multiple musical flavors !
(JIVE Records also gave PINK enough time to Blossom)

As far as the older Fans dissing the Pop-Dance Vibe of this record,
here's my take on it : Yeah, big surprise: Human Nature...everyone is uncomfortable with change.
And....this is not SAPPY, or X-Rated, or juvenile, or RAVE-ECSTACY-PARTY Techno crap.
For Dance-Pop laced music, this stuff is honest, mature, intelligent, and just
great fun and upbeat feel-good Music, that I keep wanting to listen to repeatedly.
What's not to like ?
WELL.....the only thing I can actually complain about,
is that the Songs are so damn short ! I am a Musician, so I like to hear a Great Groove
played out for a bit more than 3 minutes ! JAM on it a little bit, OK ?
Instead of just abruptly ending the Song--for example: "The Fight".

Then I find out that SIA is Touring with Ximena Sarinana in The U.S. !
2 of my Favorite new Artists in the same venue on the same bill ?!
What --Am I on Candid Camera ?!
"Wheeee!" Now if I can just get my JOB
to lay off on me long enough to go SEE the dang Show !
... Doubt it though :(

El disco es increíble la verdad no entiendo porque no fue famoso en su época ya que es hermoso tanto las canciones y el arte del cd. Cómo curiosidad una canción del álbum fue escrita y cantada por Madonna
