BOWIEコレクターにはたまらない商品です。
ジャケットが白（アルバム）と黒（ライブ）になっていて、コントラストがかっこいいです。
また、見開きジャケットになっていて、LPとCDが全て収納できるようになっています。
そこがまた特別な感じがしてとても良いです。

BOWIEをこよなく愛する人であれば、持っていて絶対に損はないですね。

ボックス内のアイテムはあまり興味はありませんが、DVD-Audioを手に入れただけでも価値ありでした。好みによるけどオリジナルよりクリアに聴こえます。

1年前から買うか買わないかずっと迷っていて、ついにget！
「３点在庫」につられて買ってしまいました。
（このレビューを書いている時点で「1点在庫」になってます）

本日届いて開梱したら、皆さんお書きの通りすごい物量でした！
しかもどれも「上質」感があります。

ただ1点、残念なことが！
ブックレットが付いているのですが、これが中の方でくっついていて、ページをめくれません！
8ページ分ぐらいなんですが、糊でくっついてる、そんな感じでした。
がんばってソロリソロリ徐々に開けていったら、、、少々はがれてしまいました。
なので★２つ減点です。

音楽についてはこれからゆっくり聞いていきます。
こちらは満足するに決まってので、この時点でレビューを書かせていただきました。

新譜も出ず、最近の「紙ジャケにしました」「帯つけてみました」には、グリコのおまけのようで購買意欲そそられず、
ぐっとくるbowieモノはなかったのですが、これは届いてうれしい気分にさせてもらえました。
個人的には、「90年代にRYKO盤全部揃えたんだよね」といった方も、10,000円未満であれば購入を検討されても
良いと思います。

次作のLOWが実験の成果なら、これは実験室の中の実況中継みたいなもんだろう。
恐らく、クラフトワークの「ヨーロッパ特急」は、今作にインスパイアされたものだと推察する。
とにかく奇っ怪な長尺の表題曲に尽きるのだが、何なんだろうこの曲。
ソウル？ファンク？ハード・ロック？プログレ？・・・本気でよく分からないテイストのサウンド。
正直、良い曲なのかどうかもよく分からない。
この人はこういうのが結構多い。
釈然としない気分のままリピートさせられる、強い中毒性というか。

のちに直系フォロワーのアソシエイツが、このアルバムのサウンドを継承し、名作を作っている。
「ルーツが不明」の場合、まあデヴィッド・ボウイのフォロワーだと思っておけば間違いない。
こういう不可解な天才の産物は、そういった非凡な後輩たちに与えた影響が相当にデカいのだろう。
今作～スケアリー・モンスターズが無ければ存在してないミュージシャンもかなりいるのではないだろうか。

「良さがよく分からないから分かるまで聴く」という倒錯した行動を取らされてしまうのだから凄い。
（リピートに耐えられる時点で術中にハマっている）まさに中毒性。

真のファン以外は全く相手にしてない徹底したコレクターズ仕様。
この価格はむしろ安いとすら感じる。

ベルリン前夜、76年のボウイを絶頂と捉えるファンは多い。しかしその遺された音は少ない。
写真や映像は推して知るべし。

今回のBOXでも動く76年のボウイを拝む事は叶わなかったがこれだけの写真や貴重過ぎるレプリカの数々は長年のボウイファンの枯渇を癒すには充分過ぎる仕事ぶりだ。

このデラックスバージョンの国内盤のリリースはない。この完璧なBOXに何も足すものはない。手を出すなと言わんばかりの日本人には絶対に真似の出来ないある意味狂気の充満するリイシュー決定打。

う〜むこの傑作は少なさ・清さ・潔さがあってのことだったか・・・。リミックスした上でオリジナルに準拠するなら話はわかるが、フラット・トランスファーだと？RCAのCDミックスのコピーだと？手を抜くな。シングル・エディット集めてCD1枚ってこれも嬉しくない。だったらPVで使われたWild Is The Windのエディットも加えて6曲揃いましたってくらい開き直れ。評価されるのはDVD-Audioのハリー・マスリンによる5.1リミックス、旧来は聴こえなかったパートや別ヴォーカルが確認できて嬉しいが、ただこれが容易にステレオとして聴けないことには意味がないんだよ。それとドラムの音が80年代的なのは大減点。CD2のナッソウ・ライブも全曲揃ってはいるが、複数のテープを集めただけに音質のバラツキがありすぎる。それとなんでStayの遠吠えをオフにしちゃうかね。もっといっとくと、ブックレットのフォントがでかすぎて間抜けだ。記念品のレプリカというよりバッタモンを喜ぶような子供がデラックス買うか？傑作だけに釈然とせえへんぞ！

Di questo come di altri album semipirati della Coda Publishing/ MCPS esiste una prima versione con tiratura 500 copie e una seconda quella che mi è arrivata con tiratura 1000 copie. Quest'ultima riporta diciture in Giapponese non presenti nella prima. Come già detto in altre recensioni non credo a queste informazioni...(anche se all'apparenza è evidente sul retro una numerazione).
Il live di Pretty Pink Rose è una chicca non facile da trovare in vinile. L'album a mio avviso merita di entrare nella collezione dei fan di Bowie.

On the heels of the "white soul" of 1975's "Young Americans", musical chameleon David Bowie changed course yet again with the release of "Station To Station" in 1976. A musical journey across a decadent, neo-fascist Europe of David's imagining, "Station To Station" works as a bridge between past efforts and his forthcoming ambient electronics heavy Berlin trilogy of "Low", "Heroes" and "Lodger".
Starting with the epic grandeur of the 10 minute title track, "Station To Station" proceeds to veer from the funky "Golden Years", through the lovely "Word On A Wing", the barrel house boogie of "TVC15", the shape-shifting "Stay" and the elegant finale "Wild Is The Wind". While not as accessible to listeners expecting Ziggy Stardust era rock and roll, "Station To Station" presents a brilliant and demanding aural landscape which will thrill those with more eclectic musical tastes.
The DVD 5.1 surround mix of the album is excellent. You might have to adjust your speaker levels a bit though. The two CDs of the 1976 concert are great as well, with the band doing a few songs from "Station To Station" and running through a greatest hits set. The different take on the Velvet Underground's "Waiting For The Man" is quite interesting.
Included in the deluxe edition box:
180 gram vinyl editions of the original album remastered and the long-bootlegged 1976 Nassau Coliseum concert.
5 CDs including the original master, the 1985 RCA remaster, the single edits from the album and the two concert discs.
1 DVD containing the original stereo mix, a new stereo mix and the 5.1 surround mix.
There are two folders containing a large poster of David, various large and small pictures, replicas of a concert ticket, back stage pass, band lineup, press photos, fan club card and certificate, a booklet and two lapel badges.
Even the box itself is great, being lined with foam on the bottom and the inside of the lid to protect your investment.
I highly recommend this package as it is the most impressive of the new box set re-issues put out thus far. For those who don't want to spend as much, a cheaper 3 CD edition is available with the original album and the two concert discs. You don't get the surround mix or all of the extras with this package.

as another reviewer mentions there is no need to comment further on the album itself - this is surely one of Bowie's best and serves as the all important transition into the Berlin years - so I will stick to the package itself. It is fantastic in the amount of material provided to the purchaser, everything from all the versions of the album, the additional Nassau show, the singles CD and all the little goodies (pins, numbered ticket, press kits) and including the giant poster. In that respect my only complaint is the lack of video of the 1976 tour - no Dinah Shore video for instance, none of the video from the tour rehearsal that every Bowie fan knows exists and no live footage from any of the '76 shows - to me that is a HUGE omission - but given everything else in the set I'll still give it five stars. Obviously the variations in the current and future reviews are probably gonna center on how one perceives the various mixes of the album. I have always been a big fan of the original vinyl analog mix and it sounds awesome on the lp included in this set, probably the best it is ever going to sound for that matter - same goes for the Nassau vinyl - since there was no 'official' release to compare this to, I will just have to say it's probably the best Bowie live album I have (And I have plenty) - the band is awesome, the song selection is great and the STS songs here might be the best live versions of any Bowie tour. So, let me address what seems to be the biggest complaint by other reviews - the 5.1 mix. Yes, it IS different, especially on TVC15, which is almost a different song because of what the mix does to the sound (more reverb for instance, especially on the chorus); but, given the subject of the song, it works for me - Station To Station, I think, comes out best because there is just a plethora of new, previously unheard sounds - Golden Years suffers the most - it was kind of a sparse song to begin with and the 5.1 manages to separate the individual instruments SO much that it sounds tinny and distant compared to the analog version. I completely understand the complaints of others - however, I am paying the extra money specially for these all of the various versions and I am happy with what I got - yes, they are different, and some songs work, some songs don't but based on previous experiences with these types of rereleases I knew that going in - the huge variety of EVERYTHING included in the package and the pleasure (and some disappointments) of listening to this wonderful album in all of its iterations make it a worthy purchase. And this IS, to some degree, a cold and distant album, so the 5.1 mix compliments that (although sometimes to the extreme). Does it improve the analog mix? No. But it does give you a different way to experience it and that's what I wanted. If you are basing your purchase solely on the 5.1 mix then perhaps the 3-cd or single cd versions might be a better (and considerably cheaper) option. However, if you are more of a completist and willing to accept that not everything is going to meet your highest expectations then I recommend this package for the opportunity to hear Station To Station in so many different ways.

Hab zwar schon alles, was es von Bowie gibt. Aber dieses Set war nach reiflicher Überlegung dann doch ein Kaufanreiz: Allein die LP`s sind die Sache wert: Dickeres Material, als ich es von anderen LP`s gewohnt bin: Ein wahrer Klangenuss. Die Aufmachung des Sets einfach klasse. Für jeden Fan empfehlenswert.
