　商品が届き、開梱しようとしたところ、シールがはがされていて明らかに開梱されている状態でした。これは新品未開梱でない証しです。こんな商品を販売しているのはどうかしているとしか言いようがない。

　また、留め具に不具合があり、しっかりしまらない状態で、自動オンオフ機能が動作せず、ずっとオンのままになってしまう有り様でした。

　すぐに返品しました。

【追記】
その後、出品者と連絡を取り、良品ケースを別送してもらいました。製品の作りはしっかりしていて、けっこう高級感もあり、気に入って使用しています。
機能的にも申し分なく、類似他製品の商品説明を見る限りでは、結局ベストな選択だったと思います。
ＵＳからの直送でも購入可能なようです。送料を含めてもさほどかわらないようです。そちらでは、キーボードの色がシルバー、黒、白の３色から選択できます。（ちなみにａｍａｚｏｎのものはシルバーのみです）
黒が選択できなかったため、−１で★★★★とさせていただきました。

仕事で普段使う程度の文章であればiPadだけで完結できるようになりました。iPadの向きやキーボードの使い心地は良いのですが、キーボードの充電をする時にケースから出さないとできないのが少々手間に感じます。また、手書き入力などの時にはiPadだけの方が使いやすいですが、ケースからiPadを取り出すのに手間取ります。 ZAGG ZAGGfolio キーボード付きカバーケース iPad2専用

I liked it at first but I found that I stopped using it. Unless you are doing a significant amount of word processing, the added bulk and weight is just not worth it in my opinion. That is not necessarily a knock on the unit itself. However, the weight and form factor just did nothing to inspire me to stick with it.

4/12/15: I just wanted to provide an update. I have had this keyboard for almost 3 years now. I still love it. I use it every day. Operationally, I have had no issues at all. The keys all work great and the battery still lasts an amazingly long time -- I go for weeks before having to recharge it. I will say that the outside vinyl/cloth did start to peel off of the cover in a couple of different places last year. But I just got some glue and stuck it back on. Easy -- all fixed. I still highly recommend this keyboard -- it's great.

I spent days researching iPad keyboards after I saw a colleague using the Logitech version. I read many reviews and articles and decided to try the Zagg Zaggfolio. It is wonderful. I am a fast typist and have been so frustrated using the iPad keyboard. Now my fingers are flying again on this keyboard (I am using it right now). I have not had any of the issues that others have written about. No sticky keys, no problem with the Delete key, and I really like the case. There were reviews that said that the case was flimsy, didn't close properly, etc. I love this case. I already had an Apple smart cover that I will still use if I want to take my iPad somewhere without the keyboard. But for home usage, I will leave my iPad inside the case with the keyboard. When used in landscape position, the iPad is propped up (as shown in the product photo) and is perfect for typing on your lap. The iPad and keyboard sit very sturdily in the case at the perfect angle for typing.

The top row of keys are great too. The one to the very left is the Home key, so you can press it to take you back to the iPad's home screen very quickly. I will be using that key the most. Set up was amazingly easy. The battery came already fully charged and ready to go. You just turn the keyboard on, turn on the Bluetooth setting on your iPad, press the Connect button, and your iPad gives you a code to key in on your keyboard, and voila! You are connected.

I have only had this now for a few days, so I will report later if I start having problems. But I would highly recommend this to anyone who wants an iPad keyboard and a sturdy case to carry them both in (with protection on both the front and the back). Great buy!!

This one's a good'un. Very easy to set up and much admired. Protects the IPad itself really well and looks smart and professional. Use it a lot for work now as the equiv of a high-end netbook. And it's excellent for that as well as classic iPad sofa surfing. Also provides most of the Apple keyboard functionality which is handy. One cautionary note ; if you are an exprerienced touch typist the keys will feel cramped at first...you will need to decide how much that matters. Otherwise an excellent high-end add-on to the iPad itself.

After reading the reviews regarding the defective clasps and ZAGG replacing them, I assumed that I would get a product with a redesigned clasp. Apparently, Amazon still has the defective models in stock (maybe that's why this cost less than a similar version being offered). I immediately noticed that the keyboard side of the case would shift around when closed, causing it to become unclasped and turning on the iPad. I contacted ZAGG, and they are no longer sending out just the cover. I will have to send the entire product back to them and pay for shipping. They were, however, easy to work with. They are shipping the new ZAGGfolio to me first before I have to send in mine. If not for the clasp issue, I would give this product five stars. The keyboard is excellent, and the folio looks well made. The carbon fiber is nice--I don't understand some of the reviews that say it looks cheap. I'm very particular about that kind of thing, and I find the case to be very good quality.
