4人から3人編成になったことで前作の洗練されたサウンドは本作では聴くことができません。本作で聴けるのはディラン・バルディの野性剥き出しのギターなのですがこれがめちゃくちゃかっこいいんです！本能のままに鳴らすのは心を鷲掴みにされる疾走感あふれるメロディ。ディランくんは今のインディーロックシーンの中でもトップレベルのメロディメイカーだと思います。中でもアルバムのラストを飾る#8は心を掻きむしられてなんだか泣けてくるレベルの超名曲です。

HERE AND NOWHERE ELSE, est effectivement un album de très bon rock indépendant. Tous les morceaux sont parfaits et forment un ensemble très homogène. Je recommande également les autres albums de ce groupe qui sont du même acabit.

This was the first album I've picked up by Cloud Nothings, and I really enjoyed it. It's a quick, straightforward 30 min (+/-) album of catchy grunge inspired rock. If I had to compare them to another band I'd say they are a band that wants to be a harder version of The Strokes. Psychic Trauma, I'm not part of me, and Just See Fear are the highlights for me on this album, and honestly I jam this thing almost anytime I'm hitting the road for a car ride.

If you're into garage-ish rock with a tad bit of punk and grunge, pick this album up. If you don't like the whole thing, you'll definitely grab a few songs that you'll keep coming back to.
