最初にアニメ版のOPが流れて懐かしいと思いながら見れました。
今のところ(ミッション1時点)みんなフルボイスで嬉しいです。
フィールドに"つり橋"が再現されていてあったわーって思えました。
主砲を向けながら、相手を中心に回り込むように移動すると、アニメの最終回であったドリフトショット?の再現も出来て面白い。
私、戦車道、極めます!

It's a PS Vita game from Japan, based on the anime of the same name. It requires the use of a memory chip, but I guess most of them do. The game is totally in Japanese. This is not as bad as it seems, because there are online resources, like Nihongodict, that will help you figure things out. All the dialog is repeated on-screen, so you can take screen shots and work your way through it. Once you have the basic commands down, gameplay is easy, fun and simple.
It's a 3rd person game - you're looking over the shoulder of your tank. Right joystick controls turret rotation and gun elevation, left controls tank (forward turns tank towards turret). You drive with the left stick and steer with the right. Top right shoulder button on PSV fires the gun. The O button on the keypad moves to the next screen. The X button skips stuff. Most movement is smooth, but the gun elevation tends to accelerate unless you use a light touch. After you master those, it's simply a matter of drive around, shoot the opponents.
There's two main play modes. Story mode (ストーリ) is where the initial action takes place. You play as one of the Oarai tank teams, and each of the teams has their own path through the game tree. The first page is short (5min) scenarios, two per team. In the second scenarios you have to not only knock out the opposing tanks, you have to make it to the bridge. Second page is longer (three scenarios each), and you not only control your own tank, you can jump to other tanks as well. There's a third page, that I haven't gotten to. Second mode is Battle Royal (ベトル ロイアル ), where you can reportedly build your own teams. I haven't made it there yet either.
Interspersed with the games are short but unskippable cut scenes that are straight out of the anime, and untranslated.
