A brilliant album. But I must mention one song in particular: THE SENTIMENTALIST. The whole album is a break-up album, but this one carries the heart of the emotion, it gets me every time, and should be the theme song for anyone who's lost a love.
This is only my second album by Lerche. The first was the "Dan In Real Life" soundtrack from nearly 7 years ago. That album was a perennial listen when I was driving. This is a little less immediate and slightly more introspective. However, it's beautifully recorded and I think this slowburner may become one I appreciate more as time goes on.
I love Sondre Lerche. I have all his U.S. Albums. I really like this one too but just not as much as Heartbeat Radio. That one is my absolute favorite.
