よく知らずジャケットに惹かれて購入したのですが、Rufus Wainwright、Lana Del Rey、Fun.のNate Ruess、そしてベテラン勢からBrian Wilson、Randy Newman、Colin Blunstone、Charlotte Gainsbourg等が歌う、信じられないようなメンバーのアルバムでした。Emile Haynieという人がどういう人か知りませんでしたが、曲もとても良いし、他にも聴きたいです。プロデュースがメインのお仕事のようですね。

Bruno MarsやEd Sheeranなんかも手がけているようです。納得。

何度も何度も聴き返してしまう、宝物のようなアルバム。

Saw this on display in the lobby of the Chateau Marmont in West Hollywood. It intrigued me to learn more. Never heard of him. It was recorded there and some amazing talent. What a gem of a find.

What a gorgeous album. I bought it because I like Randy Newman and Lana del Ray but got so much more than I expected. Enchanting and evocative with poetic lyrics and beautiful orchestrations. Wow.
