– Though no gluing is required, you may want to apply a drop or two of super glue to hold some parts in place. I didn't find that necessary with this particular kit, but did on some of the others in this series.
– The plastic is very brittle! It breaks easily. That means parts are easy to (carefully) cut and snap off the sprues, but also break easily.
– The decals look great but can be problematic. First of all, make sure the entire decal has come loose from the backing and is starting to slide, or you will very easily tear it. Once the decal is in place and has dried, do not touch it again, ever! The glue on these seems to be nonexistent, and just touching them seems to be enough to pop them loose. If that happens, dampen them again and reposition.
I’ve now put together three of these kits in this series. The level of nostalgia and fun memories these models deliver are way out of proportion to their tiny size and equally small price. Spend just a little of your allowance, and be a kid again!

This is one of a complete series of really neat little snap-together Ultraman kits requiring little time (and even less shelf space). Some parts are molded in red, saving you the trouble and drying time of painting. Decals provide the remaining color. Despite the simplicity of these kits, I do have some assembly tips:
– Though no gluing is required, you will want to apply a drop or two of super glue to hold some parts in place. On this kit it was the vertical tail fin and the square under plate that fits onto the display stand.
– The plastic is very brittle! It breaks easily. That means parts are easy to (carefully) cut and snap off the sprues, but also break easily. The antenna is especially fragile, so handle with care.
– The decals look great but can be problematic. First of all, make sure the entire decal has come loose from the backing and is starting to slide, or you will very easily tear it. Once the decal is in place and has dried, do not touch it again, ever! The glue on these seems to be nonexistent, and just touching them seems to be enough to pop them loose. If that happens, dampen them again and reposition.
– The yellow rear stripe on the tail fin needs special mention. That will never wrap around 180 degrees without decal softener. I ended up just cutting it in half and applying one piece at a time.
I’ve now put together three of these kits in this series. The level of nostalgia and fun memories these models deliver are way out of proportion to their tiny size and equally small price. Spend just a little of your allowance, and be a kid again!
