インク漏れは勘弁してほしい
箱もペンもオシャレなので、お気に入りになるはずだったのにインク漏れ。海外産なので、梱包が雑なのは致し方ありませんが、明らかに事故です。幸い漏れていたのは紫だけですが、日本製なら返金どころか賠償ものです。ラベルの汚れ以外は無事なので今回は妥協いたしますが、日本での販売も考えているならメーカーさんは注意するべきです。

I bought this as a gift for my grand daughter who took a calligraphy class. This set was so nice I almost bought a second one to keep for myself. The picture of the unit does not do it justice. This is high quality set that will allow you to send cards or invitations with a beautiful flourish. Even an amateur can get this to work with a nice finished product. Of the many more expensive sets I looked at, this one gives great value.

A nice beginner set for the price. The first one that was sent to me arrived with the pen holder broken off of the ink well stand, so I infer that the soldering on that particular piece isn't meant to hold up to the tests of time; but again, for the price it's great. Unfortunately, I won't be able to give a review of the use of the product itself since this is a gift for my aspiring calligrapher brother-in-law, but I am an experienced calligrapher myself and the nibs and ink bottles in this set make it ideal (IMO) for a beginner. There is a lot of room for a beginner to grow with this set.

This Pen came in good condition and earlier than expected. I bought this pen as a gift for my friend and he loved it! He said it works great and also said that some of the nibs are flex nibs. The box is so nice and it seems to have a magnetic flap to keep it closed. It is also very large. much larger than expected.

Got this set for my daughter, and then I used the set as well. One jar lid wasn't screwed on really tight so it leaked a little in shipping (the reason for 4 stars instead of 5). If someone did a lot of calligraphy or was extremely serious about calligraphy, I could see spending the money for a higher quality set. But for beginners and people who need a set for crafting or writing special notes occasionally, this is the set.

The pen is awesome, the nibs are cheap crap. I've used better ink, in fact I threw this ink out and bought better. However the pen really is very nice and the ink and pen holder, also very nice. Worth buying the set just for the pen and holder.

Mine arrived with the inks all thrown in disarray and two,of them leaking. One almost leaked empty and the other just a little over half leaked out. Not sure who was to blame for that, factory, seller or shipping service. However since the ink is garbage it was a moot point for me. I bought two sets at the same time and the second set was packaged just fine.

If you are buying this for yourself because you like the look of the pen and holder it's a winner. If buying as gift for a beginner find a better set. I have used dip pens for 42 years and a newbie would get easily frustrated with both the nibs and the ink of this set.
