VoiVodの3rdにして、最高傑作との誉れ高き名盤。
狂気を身に纏ったようなギターサウンドとボーカルは、１度聞いたら忘れられない。
「指ツルんじゃないの？」と思うような変態コードが印象的。
凡百のメタルバンドが束になってもかなわないし「独創的」と一言では片付けられない。

前作までの流れでスラッシュメタルに分類される彼らだが、スラッシュメタルフリークならずとも１度は聞く価値があると思う。
「このアルバムの良さがわかるのは自分だけ」と思いたいので、知る人ぞ知る存在であって欲しい気持ちもあるんだけど･･･

ジャケットは相変わらずドラムのアウェイ作。前作ほどのインパクトは無いが、1stからの連作物なので知っている人には楽しめる。次作から画伯の作風も少し変わってしまうし。

　3作目、まだ一応スラッシュメタル。

ガシャガシャした音で金属的なリフを掻き鳴らすギターと

ハードコアみたいなボーカルが妙な焦燥感を表現しています。

メタル的でもパンク的でもあり、勢いは凄くても混沌としており、

なんかサイバーなのに生々しいという個性的な音楽を

かなりのテンションで叩き付けてくる傑作。

ドラムスが描くヘンテコなイラストをパラパラマンガ風に組合わせた[RavenousMedicine ]のPV を観たとき。恐らく動物実験反対って曲なんだろうが……色々空回りだなぁと
変則的なギターリフの曲構成にブリブリのドンシャリベース。シャンシャンゆうてるドラム、カナ切り声と掠れ声を繰り返すボーカル
「ｴﾚｸﾄﾘｯｸっショックぅ　ﾄｩ　ユぅっー」とか言われても
プログレには及ばず、ツギハギっぽい進行

なんだか　メタリカとか意識してではなく
何かしら気に入った曲とかの
コピーとかも苦手で
模倣したつもりが指動の癖とか
難しい所、割愛しちゃうセンスとか
で全く別の曲になっちゃった
のが、巧妙にオリジナルになっちゃったみたいな。

カナダのテクニカルスラッシュメタルバンド、ヴォイヴォドの3rd。1986作
パンクぎみのノイジーなギターで疾走する感じは、「Nothingface」以降のサウンドとはだいぶ異なる。
音質の悪さも手伝って、知的というよりも、この時点ではむしろまだ野蛮なスラッシュサウンドで、
SFをテーマにしたストーリーがあるようだが、曲自体にそういう雰囲気はあまりない。
後で聴かれるプログレ的な世界観を身に付ける前の勢い重視のスタイルで
風変わりなハードコア風スラッシュという言い方が正しいサウンドだ。

Sin palabras, el producto final es sublime, la remasterización del álbum original es estándar y no escucho diferencias entre las ediciones anteriores. Sin embargo, el material adicional que contiene esta edición de 3 discos es lo que vale la pena. El segundo disco es un álbum en vivo, que si bien no se escucha muy bien, si plasma la presencia en vivo del Voivod de aquellos años. El tercer disco si es una pasada, casi 8 horas de contenido audiovisual en vivo y material inédito. Si te gusta el thrash clásico de los 80's de seguro disfrutaras mucho esta edición, que el precio lo vale.

Nota EXTRA: El digipack incluye el bootlek, pero sin las letras de las canciones, solo incluye material propagandístico del album en el año que fue lanzado, pero sin dudar alguna es una delicia de bootlek.

Légendaire, inspirant, du grand Voivod. Parcontre pour ce qui est de la livraison et du packaging je suis très déçus. Je vais devoir l'acheter à nouveau pour ma collection. Livraison rapide oui, mais dans un état médiocre. Heureusement le média est sans dommage. Je dois dire que c'est la première déception pour moi avec NAGIRY, Je vais probablement acheter encore chez eux mais ma confiance est ébranlé.

Excellent rapport qualité prix !
2CD et 1DVD pour le prix d'un CD seul, l'album en lui même est super, il est intéressant d'avoir des demos, interviews, shows de l'aire Killing Technology (enregistrés avec les moyens de l'époque...) pour tous les amateurs de l'album et de Voivod !
