La gradisima Sharon Jones entregó este albúm "soul of a woman" y desgraciadamente falleció al poco tiempo, nos encontramos con un trabajo donde arropada (como en el resto de sus anteriores) por The Dap-Kings (potente banda de soul) encaja perfectamente con la espectacular voz que tenia Sharon y despacha 11 temas que son para recordar lo grande que fué SHARON JONES!!!!

This is one of Sharon Jones best CDs. Her voice is so good and soulful. The backing bad swing and play with enthusiasm.

2 negatives - 1. It's Sharon's last album. 2 It's too short - I would like more. So much for my pathetic complaints - Thank You Sharon - this is a beautiful parting gift, one we will enjoy for a long time to come. It's more relaxed than many of Sharon's previous releases. At times it puts me in mind of the recordings of Dusty Springfield. I'm sure a lot of this reflects the abilities of the Dap Kings. In the end however if someone asks - "Soul Of A Woman?" - what other answer can there be but - "Sharon Jones!".
