（flute / alto flute / bass flute / piccolo ）
2000年渡欧、オランダ・アーネム音楽院を経て、アムステルダム音楽院を卒業、学位取得と同時に同音楽院マスター過程入学試験合格。2005年よりフランス・ストラスブール国立地方音楽院のCycle de Spe´cialisation課程フルート科、および室内楽第5課程に在籍し、フルートをマリオ・カローリ、室内楽をアルマンド・アングステアの各氏から指導を受ける。2008年同音楽院を最高位の成績で終了、Diplom de Spe´cialisation取得。Ensemble Accroche Note、また2009年には関西フィルハーモニーと協奏曲共演するなど、現在日本・ヨーロッパ各地においてソリスト、室内楽奏者としてコンサート活動、ＣＤ録音などで、幅広く活動している。フランス・ブルターニュ地方を拠点とするアーティスト集団HANATSUメンバー。2006及び2007年度ローム・ミュージックファンデーション奨学生。2006年、現代音楽演奏コンクール“競楽VII”第16回朝日現代音楽コンクール入選。現在までに、フルートを大久保功治、小泉浩、高橋真知子、アビ・デ･クワンツの各氏に師事。

Ayako Okubo studied flute at Conservatory of Amsterdam with Abbie de Quant, obtained Bachelor Diploma at 2005 with admission to the Master cycle. From 2005, she studied flute with Mario Caroli at Conservatoir National de Region de Strasbourg and chamber music with Armand Angster, obtained Diplome de specialization with the highest honor on 2008. She works currently with ensembles such as Accroche Note, H A N A T S U miroir, Ensembles Akiyoshidai. and with composers such as Joji Yuasa, Toshio Hosokawa, Ivan Fedele, Frank Denyer, Chikage Imai, Arileza Farhang, Maurilio Cacciatore, Marco Momi and many others, also conductors such as Lucas Vis, Chosei Komatu(Osaka philharmonic Orchestra). She has been invited to the festivals such as Le festival MUSICA (France Strasbourg), Die Klugste Nacht Des Jahres (Germany, Berlin-Potsdam), Akiyoshidai Summer Festival (Japan), Taksefu international music festival (Japan), and many other concerts, projects, and recordings.

In 2007, a Noh performer, Ryoko Aoki, performed Joji Yuasa's "Snow Falling Down" (1972) 35 years after it was first premiered. It inspired many young composers and musicians and it led to a number of innovative collaborations with her.
In this project, ensemble-no, which was founded by Ryoko Aoki, will commission six well-known young international composers and will premiere their new works. The project includes four concerts that will be presented by each of six composers. In the first half of each concert, the composers will talk about their own work, and in the second a new piece will be performed. The talk by composers will give the audience a deeper understanding of this new world of contemporary music and Noh. enseDuring last season, ensemble-no completed Vol. 1 of this project to some acclaim. This year Vol. 2 will be shown at an exciting new venue, SHIBAURA HOUSE in Tokyo, built by the well-known architect, Kazuyo Sejima. ensemble-no is active with concerts not only in Japan but also in Europe.

~Joji YUASA, d’une rencontre est née l’envie d’un portrait~

Nous avons rencontré Joji Yuasa à l’un de nos concerts à Tokyo en décembre 2009. Dans une salle un peu underground, Yuasa Sensei était présent. C’était l’année de ses 80 ans. La scène contemporaine Japonaise fêtait cette année là un des pilier de son histoire musicale actuelle, au grand plaisir de son public qui redécouvrait ainsi certains de se travaux oubliés. A 80 ans, il restait assis là, à nous écouter avec ses oreilles riches, humbles, ouvertes et généreuses.
>>Sa musique allie une exceptionnelle sensibilité à la couleur sonore, avec une pensée rigoureuse, privilégiant la logique et le travail formel.
Son approche philosophique de la musique est emplie d’une générosité que seule une personne de cette richesse d’esprit peut apporter. Elle nous a donné envie de le célébrer à notre tour, le plus généreusement possible.
A ses côtés dans ce programme, figurent deux de ses contemporains Yori- Aki Matsudaira et Jonathan Harvey.

De la rencontre entre les sons générés et les sons acoustiques, entre la liberté de l’interprétation et la fixité du support électronique. Deux mondes, deux référentiels se confrontent alors.
De l’univers engagé et vivant de Pierre Jodlowski aux textures sonores oniriques de l’Iranien Alireza Farhang, en passant pas les structures complexes et raffinées de Samuel Andreyev, nous proposons un aperçu des possibles que représente l’univers de la musique électro acoustique.
Ce projet se veut le premier d’un cycle qui pourrait amener d’autres confrontations autours de ce même médium qu’est la présence de l’électronique. Nous projetons de développer ce cycle dans les prochaines saisons autours de la vidéo et d’autres courants musicaux plus proches des musiques actuelles.

Noh meet comtemporary music
Le projet “Noh meets contemporary music” est un co projet entre Rioko Aoki et l’ensemble HANATSU miroir, partiellement subventionné par le département culture de la préfecture de Minato (Minato prefecture grant for culture).Ce projet a été commanditaire de 5 pièces de 5 compositeurs de différentes nationalités qui travaillent pour écrire en étroite collaboration avec l’actrice/chanteuse. Le but de cette dernière étant de développer une écriture contemporaine ‘savante’ compatible avec l’écriture et la technique traditionnelle du chant Noh. Pour ce programme de concert, nous proposerons les pièces écrites dans le cadre de cette collaboration, comme premières Européennes ainsi que des pièces de Joji Yuasa inspirées par le théâtre Noh. Sa pièce pour flute solo ‘Maibataraki” est inspirée de la dance Noh du même nom qui sera interprétée pour l’occasion par Ryoko Aoki.

〜能と現代音楽が創り出す新しいアート〜
次、を綴る音。
能と現代音楽が倉庫空間と出会うことで生まれる、新しくも美しき化学反応...。 ステージは「運河沿いの倉庫」という特別な場所。音楽が持つ、素晴らしいパワーを存分に体験できる、そんな新たな空間作りからチャレンジしたパフォーマンスアートをお届けします。 今回披露されるのは、能の青木涼子氏の声に刺激を受けて作曲されたもの、能の持つ独自の世界観からインスパイアされたもの、そして日本の伝統芸能と西洋の楽器との混じり合いのなかで音楽の世界をより拡げることに挑戦したもの...すなわち、伝統と現在を異なった角度からとらえた「次」を感じさせる作品たちです。 伝統に培われた能楽を現代の感性で発信する青木涼子氏の謡・舞とストラスブール在住の大久保彩子氏が奏でるフルート、そして名古屋在住の作曲家・今井智景氏との魅惑のコラボレーション。 中川運河の持つ名古屋の情緒とともに、一日限りの幻想的な夜をお楽しみください。
