Trip to Korea ~Day 1~

On June 19th, after long hours of preparing and packing (boy, that was tiring, or what!!), I got on to the train to Narita Airport. The airport is further away than I thought. Narita Airport, though from its name, you would think of gates to/from Tokyo, it is not located in Tokyo. It took me about 2 hours by train to get there.

After getting to the airport, it was a smooth process. Going through security wasn't as bad as the ones in U.S. I had a pizza while waiting in the gate area. I took Asiana Airline, since it was the cheapest. The ride wasn't bad either besides from the meal that I got from them. It was a good thing that I had a pizza before this meal, since that was definitely not for human beings. eeeeew!!

I arrived Incheon Airport and got on to the limousine bus, which made me afraid that I may have gotten on to the wrong bus till I got to the hotel. The bus driver did not speak neither English nore Japanese... But, anyway, I got to the hotel safely.

W-Hotel was the place of my stay. It was a classy and modern hotel with red and white colors. Very nice service, clean rooms. I wished my apartment room was like this!!

After checking in, I decided to walk around the area.

I found a cute little shop that sells accessaries. I bought a pink earings that was shaped as stars. I asked the staff if she knew any good restaurant - which she told me. Then, I thought, "Hey, my Korean isn't as bad as I thought. I can speak and listen okay even after a couple of years has passed since I took Korean classes in the university... mmhew..."

Anyway, I went to the restaurant she told me and had 콩국수(Kongguksu). This is a cold noodles with soy pasted soup.

Since it was past 9pm when I finished a dinner and I was a bit scared of going back in the dark. I left the restaurant and walked back to the hotel. I relaxed in the room and took a looooong bath while watching "Law & Order."

I went to sleep around midnight feeling relaxed but I woke up once or twice for I guess I was nervous about meeting Eddie's parents... And having a four-hours drive alone with them the next day.
