■[雑考]Macの世界シェアはジョブスの就任前から50%下落し2.2%に

diggで見つけたのですが、こんな記事がありました。

いや、意外です。

僕の周りでは、逆に増えている傾向かと思ったのですが・・・。

とは言ってもここは日本。僕の周りだけでは判断できませんね。

むしろ、Appleが弱い地域でのPC出荷台数が伸びて、結果的にAppleのシェアが薄まったと考えるのが妥当そうな感じです。

しかし、当のdiggではまったく違う方向の議論があって微笑ましい感じです。

一文だけ引用させていただくと。

Market share does not equal install base. Market share = # of units sold. Typical PC life is 18 months. Typical Mac life is 3 to 5 years.

So two to three times as many Windows machines have to be sold to keep up with the lifespan of a single Mac box.

Macが好きなのは分かるけど、そんな無茶な！(笑)
