韓国・ニューヨークの旅 6日目 Travel to Korea and N.Y. Day 6

今日は予めネットで予約しておいたミュージカルを観に行きます
せっかくなのでぶらぶら歩いてブロードウェイまで行ってみることに
Today we went to the musical.
I have booked tickets already in Japan on net.
We walked to the Broadway.

1足遅く、M&M’S君と一緒に写真を撮ってもらえなかった
このとき彼はHIP HOPの曲に合わせてノリノリ
ちなみに、この向かいはハーシーズのショップ

We just missed a chance to take a picture with Mr. M&M’s.
He was dancing with HIP HOP music.
By the way, the opposite of this shop is the Hershey’s shop.

劇場前のレストランで食べるつもりが激混み
みんなゆっくり食事をしてミュージカル鑑賞するもんなんですね〜
時間がないのでマックでランチ
私は限定のANGUS ベーコンも入ってボリュームたっぷり
ちなみに、隣はダブルバーガーです
日本に比べて間のバンズも厚い、チーズも黄色い
We were going to take some foods before musical but so many people were in the restaurants where were near our theater.
Then we ran to a McDonald’s next to the Times Square.
I took a special limited burger calls ANGUS. Look this volume!
Next to ANGUS is double burger but these buns are thicker than Japanese one and cheese is much more yellow.
ちなみに、ミュージカルは二人とも大好きなBILLY ELIOT
これはたぶん日本には来ないので観れて良かった
Eliot役の子も良かったけど友人のMichel役の子が素晴らしかったです
We forgot to take picture of our theater.
We watched the “Billy Eliot” which our favorite and this one never come to Japan we think.
Eliot was a good but his friend Michel was a marvelous.
ブロードウェイで初ミュージカル感激でした
次回があったらチケットオフィスも利用してみたいし、オフブロードウェイも挑戦してみたい
We watched musical in London quite many times but the Broadway was the first time and it was so impression us.
We’ll try to use the Box Office and watch some off-broadway musical in next time.

We absolutely visited at the Disney store.

上も下もゴミだらけ!!! ごみ箱をひっくり返したような有様
何かあったのか？これがいつもなの？

天井の星座の絵が素敵でした
The roof has a beautiful constellation picture.
時間が悪く閉店間際の駅のイタリアン系のバーガーショップで夕食を
店員のお兄さんが結構意地悪でやっぱり(?!)味もいまいち
We visited there bad time, almost shops were closed or ready to close.
We bought Italian burger for dinner but this shop was also ready to close and shop staff was unkind.
And taste was also bad!!!!
My sister found the O&Co. shop in this station and she got her favorite soaps.

早いもので今日でニューヨーク滞在も最後
Today is last day in N.Y.
まずはメトロポリタン美術館
We went to the Metropolitan museum at first.
ここに来るまでに疲れ果てた〜〜
I was so tired to walk here from our hotel.

海外の美術館も博物館も本当に展示がうまいです
まるでそこに建っていたかのようです
The Chinese garden
There were beautiful displays in over sea’s museums.
I think Japanese museum staff need more study how to display.

最後の夜、ホテル周辺をぶらぶらしながらお気に入りのチキンのデリへ
結局いつも部屋食べでレストラン行かなかったなぁ〜
I wanted to eat that delicatessen’s chicken for last dinner.
It was so tasty! I can eat it every day and every meal.
We had never eaten at the fancy restaurants stay here.

韓国・ニューヨークの旅 最終日 Travel to Korea and N.Y. The last day
8月22日(月) 22/Aug./2011 Mon.
JFKに向うシャトルは前夜では予約できないと言うことで、ホテルのお兄さんはタクシーを勧めてくれましたが時間もあるし、通勤時間帯でもないし地下鉄も近いのでガイドブックに載っていた一番安いルートで空港に向うことにしました
We missed booking shuttle taxi to the JFK air port and hotel reception man offered the yellow taxi but I don’t want to take yellow taxi.
Any way we had plenty of time and we were going to take tube and air-train to the airport and it was cheapest way.

無事に安全に1時間程度で空港まで行けました

1回目の機内食
妹はなぜかビーフ
これは失敗だったらしい
There were our first meals for return flight to Korea.
My sister took beef but it wasn’t good.
私はビビンバ
韓国のおそばは日本のよりのど越しが良くて私は好きです
ちなみに歯磨きチューブみたいなのに入っているのはコチジャン
隣の韓国人の方は全部入れて真っ赤でした
私はさすがに入れられず、見た目はまずそうでしたがお腹に優しくおいしかった
I took Korean food, Bibimbap.
I love Korean noodle. Someone is much better than Japanese.
Korean hot paste in tube but I didn’t take it.
Korean woman who sit next us put all that hot paste in Bibimbap. Her Bibimbap was red color but it was real Korean style eating.
2回目の機内食
妹は辛いのが苦手なのに前回失敗したので今回は韓国食をチョイス
でも、これイカの辛いためで超辛いって思うんだけど
やっぱり、辛くて食べられなかった様
There were second meals.
My sister took Korean meal in this time but it was fried squid with hot source.
She can’t eat hot food and we always carful to eat food in Korea but I didn’t know why she took it and also she can’t eat again.

これにしたらよかったのにね
I ate American meal, chicken with mashed potatoes.
She should take this.
帰りは韓国仁川空港で乗り換えです
いつも気になっていた仁川空港、きれいだし無料体験コーナーとかもあるんです
今回は乗り換えで十分時間があるので探検しました
We had to transfer at Korea.
We like new Korean airport it beautiful and there are many lovely facilities.
We usually haven’t time to look around there but we had nearly 3hours this time.
なんと、王様が！
こんな素敵なパレードなんかもあってハブ空港として楽しさいっぱいです
きっと次は乗り継ぎだけではなく｢韓国｣に来てみたくなるのでは？

行ってきました！B-1グランプリin姫路 B-1 Grand Prix 2011 in Himeji
11月12.13とB-1グランプリの大会が姫路でありました
旦那様は運悪く出張、私は月一の陶芸教室なので行かないつもりでしたが、お友達ご夫妻が誘ってくださったので思い切って行ってきました
私たちは土曜日に行ってきました。朝、9：30からと言うことで間に合う電車で向かいましたが既に、電車、駅、会場への道、人、人人の状態でした。
電車に乗る前の朝のニュースで既に並んでる人がいたと言うだけあって、9：30の時点ですでに｢並び規制｣の出ているブースも。兎に角すごい人でした。
私たち全員の目的の｢八戸せんべい汁｣も｢並び規制｣がかかっていて40分待ちの第二希望｢油麩丼｣に並ぶことに、人数が居たので二手に分かれもう一組は｢足柄まさカリー｣へ…そんな感じで大人5名子供2名の総勢7名で9品ほど食べましたが人の多さに食べたか味わえたかどうかは疑問です(笑)
残念ながら上位を占めたブースはドライブがてらに行けそうな場所だったため今回食べませんでした。
本場の味を今回出張で食べれなかった旦那さまと巡ってあげようじゃん
B-1 Grand Prix is the small local area foods competition in Japan.
This competition started 2006 and every year have once competition and different place.
This year opened in Himeji where is near I live on 12th and 13th November.
My husband had business trip on that day but I went to it with his office secretary couple and her sister’s family.
There were so many people and every food carts had long queue.
We took 9 different kind of local foods for 9people and enjoyed foods very much but we didn’t eat high rankings foods because those local foods are around us.
So we can eat any time.
I am going to take my husband these high ranking local foods in someday.
Of course I’ll drive for him.
最初に並んだ「油麩丼」
Our first long queue was here. We spent about 30min. in queue.
400円、優しい味で朝一番目の食事には最適でした
“Abura-fu-don” it was very Japanese taste and good for morning stomach.
「足柄まさカリー」撮ったはずなのに…

It was curry and cheese in side bucket.
「湯河原名物たんたんたぬきの坦々やきそば」
“Yugawara- maibutu-tan-tan-yakisoba”
It was a flied noodle with hot source.
殿堂入りの「横手焼きそば」
“Yokote-yakisoba”
It was also flied noodle but it use thick noodle.
あまりおいしくなかったが私たちの感想
なんでこれが殿堂入り？
「厚木シロコロ・ホルモン」
“Atsugi-shiro-koro-hormone”
It was a flied many kind of hormones with special source.
1時間半以上並んだけど並んだ以上に美味しかった！
We spent more than one and half hour for this but it was very tasty and worth it.
写真は忘れてしまったけど「久慈まめぶ汁」、くるみとお砂糖の入った団子がおいしかった
I also forgot to take picture of “Kuji- mamebu- jiru”.
It was a vegetables soup with “Dango” and there was mashed walnuts and sugar in side “Dango”.
こちらは「オホーツク北見塩焼きそば」と「今治豚玉子飯」
There are “Ohotuku-kitami-shio-yakisoba” and “Imabari-Buta-tamago-meshi”.
“Ohotuku~” was a seafood flied noodle with salt taste and “Imabari~” was a pork and flied egg on the rice.
最後に朝一に｢並び規制｣が出てた「甲府鳥もつ煮」
家でもよく作るのですがこの照りがなかなか出ません
ついつい鍋を覗いちゃいました
This was our last queue, “Kofu-tori-motsuni”.
It was a cooked chicken liver with sugar and soy sauce.

ステンドグラス Stained Glass
9月からステンドグラスの教室に通い始めました
こちらに来てからずっとやっていなかったので勘をすぐに取り戻せるかどうか心配
早速、12月に各教室合同の展示会があると言うことで作品を出さなくてはならなくなり復帰第一作目はピースの少ない物にしましたが間に合うかどうか…
前の教室では先生が図案を全部作ってくれましたがここは自分が好きなものを作ってよいらしく、販売されてる図案やトールペイントの図案などから起こしてる方もいるようです
今回は先生がお持ちの図案集の中から選ぶことに
できれば次回作は自分で書いてみたいな〜(これは前の教室からの夢でしたので)
I started making the stained glass lesson from September.
I haven’t made any stained glass for I came here.
Our teacher is going to have an exhibition for all her students in next month.
I have to make something too and I must hurry up!
I took few pieces one for my return to work first.
さて、今回の作品の原案はこれです

I didn’t work well and I like every pieces fit right way.
This is my first teacher teachings.
I used to feel his teachings were very hard but I always felt sense of accomplishment when I made finish.
I try hard to make it even he is not next to me.
I am going to my way!

あんまり進んでいないようですがリボンは満足できるまでにぴっちり削れました。
中心部分がもう少しですが
