some errors when extend LV for root filesystem.
When daily packages update, those toubles happened. I updated latest linux-image-3.0.0 for Sid/VirtualBox, but failed that. The cause was that capasity of root file system was not enough. I added SATO virtual disk to the VM, I booted from rescue mode of netinst Debian system, did not mount any devices as root file system, executed follow procedure in rescue mode shell.
# fdisk /dev/sdb # make a new slice(/dev/sdb1) as LVM # pvcreate /dev/sdb1 # vgextend hogevg /dev/sdb1 # lvextend -l +20 /dev/hogevg/root # e2fsck -f /dev/hogevg/root # resize2fs /dev/hogevg/root # exit
I rebooted, then VM poweroff and dettach netinst.iso, power on VM.
This boot was successful, I updated deb packes and reboot again. But next boot failed on the way. The new initramfs cannot find a device of root file system. I forgot to add the new device file to /boot/grub/device.map. Then, I fallback to a snapshot of pre-updating, executed previous procedures without reboot kernel, and executed below procedures finally.
# grub-mdevicemap # update-initramfs -u -k 3.0.0-1-amd64 # update-grub2 # shutdown -r now

I've changed my job one week ago.
I joined on September 1st to a company that provides Web services for B2C. Gradually I was acclimatized to my new environment to work, and I see the position of team goals. Mission of the team I joined is to provide various services for private cloud. I was doing as a hobby, writing activities and activities related to Debian, I will continue to take advantage of future work. I want to make a business case is also utilized in CouchDB.
I've joined the company name and why not write. Please ask when you meet it directly. ;)
Also, if all goes as planned next February will be the first child is born. This year became a watershed year in many ways. Activities and the Debian JP Project, the activities of CouchDB JP, I will continue. Thank you in the future.

I ordered HP Pre3.
I orderd a HP Pre 3 Smartphone (SIM Free/Unlocked, Black). Cost is £ 249.16 body, £ 39.90 shipping, the total is £ 289.06 as about JPY 36 483. The transport takes like about two to five days. I'm looking forward.

Life is short.
By the time I took care of the students had been retired in April of this year, by the summer greeting card that you know it. When I go out into the world, three years in any job and Keep, who had told me. When you change jobs and I have 10 years of that he had already retired plays to get hot breast.

I went to my old school in 10 years.
Today, I went to my graduated university to request for issuing a diploma. I first visit there after graduation in 10 years. My alma mater is Tokyo metropolitan university. Although old school has changed a little too in 10 years, was a nostalgic scene.
After I graduated, my alma mater merged with other universities, had changed from "東京都立大学" to "首都大学東京" also called name of the University in Japanese. But I noticed English name is "Tokyo Metropolitan University" has not changed either. I was a little relieved.
I also wanted to visit the lab and helped me in graduate studies, professor of teacher had been already transferred to other universities. It is up I thought I should have visited sooner. What is done cannot undone.
