「社長、社長を目指しておられる起業家、人事の方々、部門責任者の方々」に、人材育成、組織設計、マーケティングという観点から、是非、今週読んでおくべきエントリを週１でご紹介していこうと思います。

  1. 利益と理念、経営者はどちらを取るか (ワタミ社長渡邉美樹の「もう、国には頼らない。」)：NBonline(日経ビジネス オンライン)
    よく経営理念という言葉を耳にします。それでは、その言葉を話している人に「その意味は何ですか？」と聞いてください。ほとんどの人は、答えることができません。これほど意味が分からずに使われている言葉はないのかもしれません。だから、建前の経営理念が横行しているのではないかと思います。シンプルに、「利益を犠牲にしても守るべきモノが経営理念」という渡邊社長の考え方は共感できました。
    たいていの会社には「企業理念」というものがあって、だいたい「正しいこと」が書いてあります。不祥事を起こした企業でも、たぶん立派な理念が掲げられているはずです。間違っても「会社のためなら、不正も正義」とは書いてないでしょう。立派な企業理念を建前に終わらせるのか、実効性を伴う行動規範にまで敷衍するのか。私はそこで経営者の資質が問われると思っています。

    人材教育をよくされている企業があります。研修会を開催したり、OJTでトレーニングをしたり。これから新入社員研修を企画される方々も多いでしょう。その際に、「どんな人に育ってもらいたいのか？」という目標像が最も大事になります。その目標像によって、教えるべき研修内容が変わってきます。この２つの記事はそのヒントになるのではないかと思います。「自分の仕事に誇りを持てるような人材」を育てる事こそ、目指すべき人材像ではないのでしょうか？その為にどんな教育をしていけばよいのか・・
    俺はスーパーの店員だよ。確かに、今の売り手市場なんかで 入社するような業界ではないと思う。離職率も高いからね。
    でも、俺にとっちゃあスーパーの仕事って面白いんだ。 接客も好きだし、自分が「売れるかな」って思った商品で売場を作って、 それが大当たりした時なんか本当に嬉しい。値入率の高い商品だったら、 その喜びも倍以上に膨れ上がる。自分からアイデアを出して 売場を作っているから、やりがいを持って仕事をしている。
  4. 議論すべき会議とそうでない会議 − ＠IT自分戦略研究所
    上手な会議の進め方という事でファシリテーター系の話はたくさんありますね。それの一つだとは思いますが、会議の目的についてまとめたエントリです。ちょっとこれだけでは不足しているとは感じるのですが、上手にまとめてあります。今度、このテーマでもエントリ作ってみようと思っています。

    　ここで、「報告会」と「検討会」の違いについて考えましょう。　
    「検討会」は、事前に定義された明確な議題・テーマについて、何らかを検討する会議です。議論は積極的にすべきです。また、「検討会」において、自分が正しいと思う方向性や結果に議論を導くためには、ある程度、発言を多くしないと、ほかの参加者に主導権を握られてしまいます。会議を実り多きものにするために、発言が多いことはよいことだとされるべきでしょう。　
    一方で、「報告会」は「検討会」と異なります。「報告会」では、「検討会」において、現場・チームで各種検討した状況（進ちょく状況も含みます）や検討結果（課題やリスクなども含みます）をまとめ、現場・チームのリーダー格が報告し、それを受けて、意思決定する会議といえます。
    　「検討会」との大きな違いは、特定のテーマ・議題を検討することが目的ではないということです。あえていえば、プロジェクトの運営という漠然としたテーマがあるだけです。　このように、「検討会」と「報告会」とでは、会議の性質やレベルが異なります。

  5. 飲食店の業態開発日本一を目指すダイヤモンドダイニング (IPO企業の素顔)：NBonline(日経ビジネス オンライン)
    経営目標として、日本一の売上高とか利益とかではなく、「日本一の業態開発」という、なんかワクワクするような目標設定をされているダイヤモンドダイニング。今までの短期的利益の視点、「一つうまくいくビジネスモデルを作れば、それを拡大再生産をしていく事で利益拡大を図る」という考え方から言うと邪道かもしれません。これからは、こんなクリエィティビティを全面的に打ち出した事業展開が、モチベーションアップには欠かせないのではないでしょうか？
    　「飲食店を展開する企業は、店舗数日本一とか売上高日本一とかいう目標を掲げるが、わが社は業態開発日本一を目指す。当面の目標は100店舗100業態」。力強く語るダイヤモンドダイニングの松村厚久社長は、2001年に東京・銀座に開店したレストラン「VAMPIRE CAFE（ヴァンパイアカフェ）」を皮切りに、新宿、渋谷、池袋など都内のターミナル駅周辺を中心に、アイデアを凝らしたレストランや居酒屋などを数多く出店し、成功させてきた。
  6. 「はてな」を作り出す人的ネットワークの仕組みとは：ネットワークコラム ─ ＠IT
    永遠のベータ企業、はてなを支えている人事、組織体系についてまとめてあります。組織拡大に伴い、どのような人事、組織変更を行っているかという話も興味あります。

    あらゆる事柄が会議での合議で進められ、妥協の積み重ねになりがちな一般的な企業とは懸け離れた体質がそこにはある。そういえば、以前、スティーブ・ジョブスの片腕でアップル本社のボードメンバーだったある人が筆者にいった言葉がある。「社内で誰も賛成する人間がいないアイデアだから成功する。iPodはそうやってできた」 。

    もちろん、前述のはてなのやり方とは次元の異なる話だが、個性的で独創的な個人プレーヤーの集合体であるからこそ、革新的なサービスや製品を世に送り出すことができるという部分でその精神は同じように感じたものだ。
