昨日、ちょっとモチベーションが下がっているというエントリを書いたのですが、その後、モチベーションが上がる出来事がありました。


小飼弾氏の有名ブログ　404 Blog Not Foundで教わるのに必要な、たった二つのTips というエントリで取り上げられたのです。私のなぜ、あの人には教えたくなるのか？　教わり上手な人の８つのTIPS にプラス２つの大事な事を教えてくれているエントリです。（詳しくは、弾さんのページをご覧下さい。）


私のブログとは全然形式は違うのですが、ブログ開始時の目標像だった小飼弾氏に取り上げられた事は、モチベーションを大きく高めてもらう事になりました。「ほー。弾さんも見てくれるブログ」に成長したんだという喜びと、「少しでもエントリを書くインスピレーションを生むヒントになった」という喜び。


以前にも自信回復するための２０ハック というエントリを、これも尊敬するブロガーYamadaさんのホームページを作る人のネタ帳で『競わない。比べない。自分に出来ることをする』でいたら、人生の楽しさを失うよ、というお話で取り上げて頂いた際にも同じような感覚になりました。


尊敬する人達から取り上げられるという事は、ＰＶ数多かった、検索エンジンの何位になっただのという数値的な成果よりも大きなモチベーションを私に与えてくれました。


何でだろう？数値的な成果の方が実益があるのに・・


ここにモチベーションを考える際のヒントがあると思うのです。 数値的な達成感も大事です。ブログで言うと、アクセス数だったり、ぶくま数だったり。リアルの世界であれば、売上や利益だったり。しかし、常に高い目標は作ってはいても、その数値目標をいつも達成していると、数値達成では喜びを感じる感覚が麻痺してきます。それと同時に、どんどん数値目標値が高くなっていき、強迫観念のようにとりついてきたりもします。

逆に、いつも数値目標をクリアできていなければ、逆に自己嫌悪に陥っていきます。数値目標がモチベーション低下の原因にもなったりします。


数値だけのモチベーションの限界なのでしょう。（この部分は、数値目標の威力と魔力でもご紹介）


それを補ってくれるのが、周りの人の評価。特に尊敬している人からの評価。


尊敬している人からの評価は数字以上に、私達をモチベーションアップをしてくれます。「頑張っているね。」「見ているよ」「最近いい仕事をしているね。」といったちょっとした一言だけでも、そのような人達の評価はモチベーションを大きくアップしてくれます。


「尊敬される立場の人達」は、この影響力を是非、理解して欲しいのです。自分の言葉の影響力を。あなたの、たった一言のつもりのちょっとした言葉で、あなたを尊敬している人達は大きくモチベーションアップされるのだという事を。プラスの波動を送っているという事を。時には「ちょっとした一言が数値の達成よりも大きなモチベーションさえ与えている」という事を！落ち込んでいる人、元気がない人がいたら、是非その影響力を使ってください。ちょっとした一言で、その人が立ち直る大きなきっかけになる可能性があるのです。
