Juno Spacecraft to Study Jupiter -- SPACE.com
Juno, the first solar-powered mission to the outer planets (it will carry no nuclear materials), will be inserted into a polar orbit that will approach the gas giant world much more closely than any previous mission. It will carry several instruments intended to determine the structure of Jupiter's atmosphere.
Eight years from now, if all goes as planned, a spacecraft will enter orbit around Jupiter that should provide insight into planet formation.

Jules Verne Automated Transfer Vehicle

ESA Portal - Russian fuel flows in Jules Verne’s veins
"Fuel for ATV
On 20 January, 20 kg of pressurized gaseous oxygen will be loaded into Jules Verne. Through to the end of the month, the largest quantity of propellant will be fuelled on board: around 2216 kg of MMH (Monomethylhydrazine) and MON3 (Mixed Oxides of Nitrogen) propellant which will be used by the ATV’s own propulsion system. It will be used for the ATV’s autonomous navigation towards the ISS and, once docked, to control the attitude and orbit, including re-boost of the whole space complex. In free flight the ATV navigates as a fully automated spaceship, with four main engines (490 N thrust) plus 28 smaller thrusters (220 N) for attitude control. "

James Webb Space Telescope

"James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) is a large, infrared-optimized space telescope, scheduled for launch in 2013."
http://jwst.gsfc.nasa.gov/

Astrophysics in the Next Decade:
http://www.stsci.edu/jwst/

James Webb Space Telescope:
The JWST has a 6.5m mirror, which is comprised of 18 beryllium segments recently completed by Axsys Technologies in its climate-controlled factory in Cullman, Alabama, USA.
After a thorough selection process, Axsys chose Mitsui Seiki USA (Franklin Lakes, New Jersey) to supply the technology to machine the segments.
Northrop Grumman Corporation is the prime contractor for the JWST.
Mitsui Seiki custom-built the HMCs to machine the JWST mirror segments.
Billet machining - a 540 lb beryllium billet is fixtured vertically onto an angle plate on one of the eight Mitsui machines.
The six-sided billet is 4in thick, 54in across, and 62in from point to point.
The reverse side of each mirror segment has 600 pockets - about 2.5in square each.
There are also 22 mounting pads and 249 light-weighting holes.

Replacement for Hubble Space Telescope Will Use Copper-based Communications Systems: IEEE Spectrum
"14 January―NASA has opted for copper over optical fiber for connecting components in the next-generation space telescope. In a situation somewhat akin to telecom operators' widespread use of DSL technology instead of fiber optics for broadband service, the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) will use advanced twisted-pair technology to bridge instruments and electronic components across it's tennis-court-size frame, according to NASA."

Juno is scheduled for launch in August 2011, and should arrive at Jupiter 61 months later
