中学高校を6年間歌舞伎町にもっとも近い男子校海城で生活し極端な価値観を手に入れる。

企画趣旨書
「８６年世代の視点から建築的可能性をさぐる」
企画運営：東京工業大学建築学科3年 鎌谷 潤 小林 篤昌 坂根 みなほ 澤田 航(theAA) 山道 拓人
現在の「建築」は社会の表層における遊戯に過ぎない。
「建築」は建築家のための「建築」になっており、建築論はもはや「建築論」論となっている。
建築家は社会学者等の分析を引用し、そして学生はその建築家の話を引用している。それは既に３次４次情報である。学生は、建築家や社会学者などの色眼鏡を通してしか、都市や社会を見ることができない。そのような解像度の低い視点で、都市の深層を掴むことができるのであろうか。そんな状況で我々は社会的意義のあるものを創造することができるのであろうか。
活動内容
「東京にいて議論する」
そこで我々は86年世代なりの新たな手法で都市・東京の深層を明らかにしていく。
86年世代である我々は、情報社会への転換を身をもって経験し、10代から日々のコミュニケーションツールとして当たり前のようにネットや携帯を活用してきた。
そういった86年世代のもつコミュニケーションに対するポテンシャルの高さを活かした独自の手法を展開していく。
主にネット上で我々の活動を発信していく。
当面の活動は主にインタビューをし、その内容と共に論文のようなものを添えて発信していく。
インタビュイーは建築家はもちろん含まれるが、重きを置くのは他分野で東京において活躍し、よりマクロな視点で都市や空間、システムを実際に構築しているような人（プレス、ジャーナリスト、起業家、政治家、学者等）であり、領域を超え東京や建築に関する議論を行う。
そしてインタビュイーには毎回インタビュイー候補者を紹介してもらい数珠つなぎのように議論を連続させていく。インタビューで浮かび上がった主題を次のインタビュイーに投げかけたり、それ以前のインタビュイーにmailやweb上で再びインタビューしたりするなど、新たな議論の進め方を実践して行く。
その基盤となるフォーマットとしてまずは通常よく見られるようなサイトを構築しblog等で最新の情報を常に更新し、コンテンツが集積してきたら、書籍化を目指す。インターネット上の活動はフロー（どんどん更新され流れて行く）してしまうのでストックとして書籍化し定着させ、より幅広い層に発信していく。
そしてさらにコンテンツが集積したらwikiという形へ移行し、ネットワークを広げていく。
wikiとはウィキペディアを参照してもらうとわかりやすいが、自由参加型のサイトのようなものである。
wikiという形式を採用することで、我々だけでなく、第三者も参加できる状態を作り出し、より議論を発展させていくことを可能にする。
また、その時々に、我々の最新版のインタビューリサーチ等の情報をテーマとして与える。つまりインターネット上のヴァーチャルな会議のようなものを想像していただけるとわかりやすいと思う。
このように、本プロジェクトはリサーチ、書籍化、web、の三つの活動を、相乗的に作用させることで、都市の深層に接続した理論を構築していく試みである。

Architecture today is just a pastime played on the surface of society. Architecture is for architects, and they talk over their already existing architecture theories.
Architects quote sociologists’ analysis, and students quote
this. The flow makes secondary and tertiary information.
Students, therefore, can only see urban life and society with this diluted view.
Being architecture major,
Can we, then, truly grasp profound meaning of urban life
from such a viewpoint? Can we create socially meaningful
things in such a situation?
What g86 Does
"Discussing in Tokyo"
We try to discover the city of Tokyo in g86 style; the method
created by us who are born in 1986.
We, born in 1986, literally experienced the big shift to
today’s information society, surrounded by so many new tools of communications, such as Internet, cell phones, and many other gadgets, from our early age.
Our project will be mainly brought on the Internet,
making skillful use of g86 way with unique sensitivity and communication styles.
Our primary ongoing project is interviewing people and putting them in writing for viewers.
Interviewees we target are people active in Tokyo with a broad view of urban space and life, such as architects, publicists,
journalists, entrepreneurs, politicians, scholars, scientists, and
more.
We expect to have discussions upon Tokyo and architecture,
not just these specialists’ own field.
Each interviewee will introduce us with next interviewee,
so that we can build g86 network and continue our
discussions.
We will practice our own discussion building, by casting a subject we come up with our current interviewee on our future interviewee, or contacting our past interviewee back by email or on the Internet.
We will form our website and update our latest information mainly by blogging, and plan to make our blog content into
publications after it reaches a certain amount of accumulation.
Since old information on the Internet can easily go away, being pushed by new information, we store our information in publications, so that we can let more people know what we do.
After it reaches even more accumulation, then we will shift to Wiki for bigger network building.
Wiki makes it possible for not just g86 members but
any third party participants to lively and freely develop
discussions.
For each occasion of Wiki virtual meetings on the Internet,
theme will be given from our latest interview research.
Our project, as explained above, tries to build a profound theory upon
urban space, operated synergistically on research, publication, and web.
