5100エンジンとウイルス定義（DAT）ファイル5664でのGeneric PWS!hv.aqの誤認について

        5100エンジンとDAT5664の組み合わせにおいて、弊社製品を含む多くのEXEファイルが誤認識する事例が報告されています。

5100エンジンは、2008年1月31日を持って、サポートを終了しています。
5300以降のエンジンに更新を行いご利用ください。
    

McAfee false-positive glitch fells PCs worldwide • The Registerにもありますが、
    

        Files belonging to Microsoft Internet Explorer, drivers for Compaq computers,
and even the McAfee-associated McScript.exe were being identified as a trojan called PWS!hv.aq, according to the posts and interviews.
    

McAfeeが使用している、McScript.exeやその他海外情報をみてみると、Compaq/HP driversやTBMon.exe、FrameworkService.exeなども誤検知されていたようです。
