退かぬの語源、現在の地位や場所を堅持する

引退の引は「引かぬ」の否定です。
退の訓読みには、「ひかぬ」と「のかぬ」
があります。「ひく」と「のく」の否定
が退「かぬ＝qannu」です。どのように
読んでも今の地位、場所を堅持する意味
があります。
