■インドがミャンマーのダウェイ港建設で協力

インドがミャンマーのタニンタリTanintharyi管区に建設予定の深水港であるダウェイDawei港建設で協力する。港が完成すれば，インドからの物資輸送で現在マラッカ海峡を大きく迂回するルートよりもバンコクまでの輸送が格段に早くなる。経済的利益以外にも，アンダマン海に影響力を確保したいインドが進めているFar Eastern Naval Command (FENC) の設置で海軍の遠洋展開とも合致する。一方，中国はミャンマーのラカイン州のチョウピューKyaukpyuで深水港を建設中といわれる。重要なことはチョウピューが中国の昆明とミャンマーのシットウェを結ぶ中継点にあたることで，一旦港が完成すれば昆明―マンダレー―チョウピュー―シットウェをリンクする道路を通じた中継貿易でミャンマーは利益を得ることが出来る。

Importantly, Kyaukpyu also stands at a point on the land route connecting southwestern China's Kunming city with Myanmar's Sittwe. Once the 1,943km Kunming-Kyuakpu road is completed, Myanmar will begin to draw economic benefit from the transit trade as well as job opportunities for Myanmar workers and others in the region. Construction of the seaport and the road link, outlined as Kunming-Mandalay-Kyaukpyu-Sittwe, is under feasibility study, the Myanmar Ministry of Construction was quoted as saying recently.

snsはオブジェクトを中心としたobject-centered socialityまたは行動科学者のいうpracticesがないと機能しない。オブジェクトはflickrのように写真でもいいし，del.icio.usのようにurlでもいいし，EVDB, Upcoming.org, evnt, mosukiなどのようにイベントでもいいが，オブジェクト中心でない友達数を競うゲームのようなソーシャル・ネットワークは機能しない。同様にオブジェクト中心として繋がらないfoafは機能しないとのこと。

Sometimes the 'social just means people' fallacy gets built into technology, like in the case of FOAF, which is unworkable because it provides a format for representing people and links, but no way to represent the objects that connect people together. Creative Commonsに触発されたイギリス発のcreative archive。BBC主導のcreative archiveでは，ライセンスに同意すればインターネット上から取得したビデオなどを自由に編集することができる。

It is hoped the Creative Archive Licence will give media users legal access to material which they can use to express their creativity and share their knowledge.

It will allow people to download and use footage and audio for non-commercial purposes, with each user agreeing to abide by the licence conditions before gaining access to any of the available material.
