おー、タイムリーですね。 orkut 見たらちょうどエリスンのコミュニティ出来てたんで、通報しますた。USENET のalt.fan.harlan-ellisonでもいいんだけど、あそこはアンチばっかでフレーム合戦ばかりで不毛なんだなよなぁ。

Japanese bestseller novel plagiarized HE's title

A love story titled "To Shout Love at the Heart of the World" has been a bestseller in Japan nowadays. The problem is, the story has nothing to do with HE's work, and the author mentions nothing about it.

The title was once quoted by an anime "Evangelion" as an episode title, but the creators of the anime were big SciFi fans and it was an homage. However, it seems that the title of the recent novel was inspired by the anime, not HE's work.

Now the novel "To shout..." has been made into a movie and became a box-office smash.

Now that HE settled the AOL case, ....

追記：現在このコミュニティに入ってるのは自分とブラジルの青年の二人(笑)。以前アンチHEのコミュニティあったんで、剽窃うんぬん書いたから「また荒しかよー」とか思われちゃうかも。いちばんいいのは "Harlan Ellison Webderland" の Forum に書き込めば確実に作者に届く(ただしエリスン自身はネットは糞の集まりだ、といってネットをやらない。サイトは代理人が運営)
