The word "pinch" has been a common Japanese word. "dai" means big.
"yabai" is a slangy word which means hot/hairly/risky.
This Japanese translation of Sulu's line is somewhat awkward. "先祖伝来" is more an adjective than a noun.
Their Japanese is very poor. BTW, I have been able to recognize British accent since when I watched "Monty Python and the Holy Grail". So, every time I hear British accent, it reminds me of Graham Chapman's King Arthur :)
Note that Hiro kept using "anata", which is an addressing with some respect, until this point where he uses rather rude "anta".
This is very colloquial Japanese. Formaly, it would be "Wake ga wakaranai yo".
This is close to "dungy". Usually related to feces and urine.
Means "difficulty-level maximum". What a geeky translation!
I'm glad to see her again. About 20 years ago when I was a college student, I had her poster *1 (which showed upper half of her butt) on the wall of my room.
