Move to the US!

Million Dollar Baby

I saw a movie "The Million Dollar Baby".

ミリオンダラー・ベイビー [DVD]

ミリオンダラー・ベイビー [DVD]

I didn't know about its story at all, i expected it was a heart warm movie.
but it wasn't...

its DVD package says it got 4 academy awards.

while seeing this, i forgot the time passed.
i deeply thought what happen to the leading actress next??

this movie can tell you the way how you live your life nicer...

tonight also i will see this again.
I'm addicting this movie now..

haha.

"thanks India" see you after 2 weeks

Now I'm thinking my future plan for a long time in several ways.
After complete my 1 year contract, what i will do.

My Blog remembers my thought.

yesterday i read my blog written before i came to India.
it says my expectation towards Indian life, what i wanna do in India. That time, I thought i read the journal written by someone else(not myself)..

Lots of thing i wanna do in India I wrote in the past which haven't been done yet.

but I know things are changing, my thoughts are also changing.

Indian Life are Frankly speaking a bit hard in a career perspective.

I feel that the project which i will be involved next is gonna be the last.

Then I will go and walk to next step.

I feel once i come and work in India,
my world are extremely enlarged.

I can say from my heart, "thanks India".
she made me bigger and made me think deeper of my life.

so tomorrow i will go to Osaka, Japan to meet my family.
then again come back to Chennai on around the middle of March.

I'm hoping i can meet and spend nice time with you all.

English as the grobal lunguage

My Indian Colleague also sometimes refer the BBC English Learning website.
he told me this journal.

Here are the discussion topics.

Discussion Questions
1. What age do you think children should start learning English?
2. Will more technology help you to learn languages more effectively?
3. Will everyone in the world speak English soon?

Let's take a look at some opinions of the neighbor countries.

Yoon soo, South Korea
My thinking for number 3
is that in future everyone will ba able to speak English for their second language.
I think, the global language can be changed.
it can be chinese, because the population of china is enormous,
and it can be Spanish,
because there are many countries are using Spanish.
But we don't know what will be happening in future,
however English is the most important language to live in 20th century.
Most people have their own jobs,
and if you learn English it would be helpful.

Eric, China
1) In my opinion,
different children, different ages.
But the sooner, the better.
In addition, it depends on the English environment you create for them.
In China, English is so popuplar that most children begin to learn English at their early ages,
about when they can speak.
However, as they grow up day by day, they lose their interests in English, for it becomes more and more difficult.
In the end, theu even give it up.
therefore, we are poor at listening and speaking.
2) Yes, I think so. Because we lack an english environment here.
we can learn it by listening to MP3 or BBC news on the internet, which can improve your Englsih rapidly
with the help of high technology.
3) No, it's impossible for everybody to speak English soon,
there are so many poor people in the developing countries
who can not go to school.
Maybe in future, it will.

Fun kui, China
1- As soon as possible, because is not only a language, but also is a way of survival around the world.
2-yes, it is obvius,
technology helps you, and provides many information easier than before,
and you have several opportunities for exchanging kowlegde.
3- I don't think so.
It will always be people who don't know English despite development in communication.

they all admit the importance of english ability.
They have done or will do or will make their children learn english.
we can say, their opinions show a port of future what we will be. how the language will be changed.
they give us the guideline to live in 21st century.

hoo..

90 percentage of Japanese are fool....?!

I should care for this kind of extrema opinion.

but I wanna know what you feel and what opnion you have about this topic.

one Indian had been in Japan for one project. then lately he came back here..

we chatted with various things regarding with Japanese culture, working style and else..

while we were talking, he said that

"90 percentage of Japanese are fool, but 10 percentage of them are really brilliant."

he continued,
" but 90 percentage of Indian are brilliant, only 10 percentage are fool."

"because you know, while we were having a meeting there, no one ask "WHY?"....Japanese just work what the boss told... they follow the boss's word blindly...
suppose if we(Indian) have a doubt, we all ask the boss, "WHY??" we ask the reason or purpose.."

oh, i felt that he was not wrong. i also felt that he described what he has seen there correctly...

one thing he might not understand what was happening to Japanese internally(in their mind)...

I think that Japanese first ask themselves, why the boss ask me to do?? what's the reason? what the boss expect me to do??

then after they try to understand the boss's expectation, still there are some doubts, they start asking the boss "why??".

but Indian behave differently.

they immediately start asking "why??".
then they start thinking based on the boss's answer.

which is better manner? good practice on business?

also I'm curious in other countries how they behave in that situation?? other countries are like the US, British, China, Europe, and all..

mmm

things are not sure in India

I feel strongly in India, the words indian says are not sure. not true. not same.

recently i bought a car (i published about that last journal.), then in advance i paid a part of amount (Rs:3,000) , then yesterday i went the car dealer office to pay remaining amount.

because i could get a car they told me on Monday,
they said that it will be ready on Wednesday you come to my office then pay the money.
As they told me i went to there. but things are not same as they said,,,,

at first i stepped over office entrance, they spoke to me with sudden face..
(that time i suspcioused that they didn't remember i came to there office...)

guy----"why you come here?"
myself---"oh don't remember you called me to come on Wednesday?"

guy----"sorry, still general services are going on...if you want to see a car, i take you."
myself---"oh, but it's ok, i can wait for repairing the car parts"

guy---"ok.no problem, tomorrow you can get a car. no problem..."
myself---"ok. anyway, i brought the money, please take ant check it."

...talks continued like above for another a few minutes....

then today, i learned one thing from yesterday what happened..
thing is that before i go to their office i call to check whether the car is ready or not.

so i did at 15PM, they responsed,,,
guy---"the car is gonna be ready, you can come after at 17PM"..
myself---"ok, i understand, i call you later once again, thanks!"

that time i still felt comfortable because i expected it's really gonna be ready..

so again called them at 17PM, they said,,

guy---"hi, tell me."
myself---"yeah, i just wanna know the car is ready or not..."

guy---"oh, now it's still going on...we can wait for you up to 22PM. you can come here 19PM, then we can give the car to you."
myself---"oh, ok, today i have some work, so it's ok for me...i will go there at around 19PM... see you later."
I started feeling suspicious...like a

can i really get a car today????

while i was working at the office i received a call.
i saw a display on mobile,, it showed call from the car dealer..
that time madam called me..

madam---"hello, this is car office.. tomorrow you will come.... ok?"
myself---"oh, it can't be finished today..? ok i will go tomorrow...but what happened to my car?"

madam---"suppose we expected the car parts came and replace with it, but it won't come today..."
myself---"oh, ok. i can wait, it's ok. so see you tomorrow. thanks for a call. bye"

the people who have been to India would understand what happened for 2days to me. you all might experience such as above things...don't you???

nothing is sure in India.

i think i can get my car on Satarday.. tomorrow also i wouldn't get it..
this is what im thinking...

oh, what a different country India is..

Difference1---we tend not to tell the customer unsure schedule or information...(we might say that we call the customer back after it's clear.while things are not clear, we just say that we will check what's going on.so let the customer know later things are sure...)

Difference2---we don't break a promise many times...(we can also say we don't promise easily... we tend to answer the customer ambiguously....)

hoo...
