　京セラコミュニケーションシステム（KCCS）は、15年来展開してきたアメーバ経営コンサルティングの顧客企業約300社を主なターゲットとして、パッケージソフト「The Amoeba」の販売を3月から開始している。投入の狙いや今後の販売戦略を森田直行社長に聞いた。

問　今になってパッケージ製品を投入する狙いは。
答　これまでコンサルティング1本でやって来たのには理由がある。アメーバ経営の基本は「情報をスピーディにフィードバックする」ことだ。例えば営業所で発生した引き合い情報を入力すると、すぐに製造部門の担当者レベルで把握できるようにする。この仕組みを企業に定着させるには、システム化するのが一番だが、これには時間がかかる。一方でコンサルティングには短期間で結果を出すことが求められる。これまでの例では、仕組み作りに4カ月、実践に6カ月、計10カ月で成果を出してきた。

問　今までもシステム化を支援してきたのか。
答　システム導入まで手伝う例もあったが、システム先行になると形がい化する危険がある。それよりも、顧客企業が既に持っている数字などをベースに、不足する情報は手書きでもいいから自分達で作り、まずは経営の仕組みを作ろうと提案してきた。しかしアメーバ経営の導入企業は300社を超えた。京セラではアメーバ経営を、40年間進展させながら続けている。顧客企業にも40年間続けられるものを提供したい。アメーバ経営を導入した企業がさらにそれを進展させるためには、システムもきちんとしたものが必要だと、コンサルティング部隊が判断した。顧客企業からも、パッケージをという声は多かった。

問　ターゲットとなる企業は。
答　The Amoebaはアメーバ経営を実践する企業であれば、カスタマイズせずに安く導入できる。技術的にも最先端のものを取り入れた。これまで多くの業種の企業にコンサルティングを行ったが、アメーバ経営での採算管理に必要不可欠な情報は共通性が高く、カスタマイズは不要だ。2004年度にコンサルティングを提供した企業は、中堅・中小企業が大変多かった。こうした企業を想定して、The Amoebaは導入コンサルティングやハードを含めて5000万円という値付けにした。

問　コンサルティングの一環として売り込むのか。
答　販売の中心はやはりコンサルティング部隊だ。アメーバ経営対応のパッケージというセールスポイントが最も生きるからだ。一般の企業に売る場合、かなりカスタマイズする必要があるだろう。それでも、「京セラはどんな経営をしているのか」と聞かれた場合に、「これです」と見せられる商材ができたことは、営業上強みになる。
