P2 Gold concerts: Fischer-Dieskau singer Goethe
Fischer-Dieskau sings Goethe.
In 1970, the baritone Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau was on tour in Scandinavia with a song program, where all texts were by Goethe and the music of, among others, Schubert, Beethoven, Hugo Wolf and Brahms. After one of the concerts on the tour, the music announcer Hansgeorg Lenz wrote in Information that if you were a singer, "you wanted to leave the concert and shoot a ball for the forehead, so staggering it was."
