"Deepest End"シリーズはベーシストAllen Woodyを失くしてから、ゲスト・ベーシストを迎えて製作されたアルバム。
スタジオ盤2枚を経て、この"Live in Concert"へと。
これだけの人が集まっているんだから、凄い！
Roger Glover、Jack Casady、Jason Newstedあたりは誰でも知っている名前かもしれない。
これだけのボリューム（全41曲！）を誇りながら、カブッテいるのは"Bad Little Doggie"、"Blindman in the Dark"、"Sco-Mule"、"Lay of the Sunflower"、" John the Revelator"、"Beautifully Broken"、"When Doves Cry"、"Banks of the Deep End"の8曲のみ。
誰だったか、「ロック・ミュージックは何を取り入れても、ロック・ミュージック足り得る」って言っていた。
まさにそんなことが実感出来るライブ。
