LAのカレッジレディオに日本代表として出演することになりました。
日本だと19日の朝４時になっちゃうね。
15年以上前にバンドで録音したオリジナル曲、Hollywood Daybreakという曲をぜひこの機会にHollywoodデビューさせてあげようと思っています。

Every month, we book some of the most fun and experimental performances in town. Come to a show and find out how you can get up at a future show!
The evening is hosted by Der Kinder -- an indie team created through classes at Wet the Hippo, looking to bring a whole new flavor to the improv scene based on that work. And every show features a set by JETZO （ジェットゾー）-- one of the most experimental groups on the scene, who've found success here and at festivals across the country.

さてLA滞在もいつの間にか一月を過ぎました。早いものです。
20年前に卒業したMIですが卒業生ににも結構オープンにセミナーに参加させてくれたり、カウンセリングを受けさせてくれたりするんですね。
Webの専門のカウンセリングを受けました。いろいろ宿題をいただきましたが、なにせ苦手意識があって、数日手がつけられなかったんですが、やっとやってみました。したら案外簡単だったりしました。ロスまで来てわざわざネットに時間取られたくないなぁとか思ったりもしたのですが、日本にいるときより全然ネットの重要性を感じたりもしてたところで、これから２ヶ月、会った人たちがこのHPを見てくれるかもしれないとすればこれは重要なタスクだなぁと感じたのでやってみました。
アドヴァイスどうりにやってみたら、全然それっぽいんですよね。
何事にも作法というのはあるものですね。

ゲリラ戦開始
I made my first scratches on the bulletin boards of the instrumental stores on Sunset Boulevard. This activity reminds me of an episode in "The Blues Brothers" movie that the companies put ads in all around the neighborhood .
ゲリラ戦開始。とりあえず楽器屋さんの掲示板に思いつきで名刺を貼り付けてきた。今度はちゃんと文章かいた張り紙にしよう。こんな時代でもこんな掲示板があるんですね。なんかブルースブラザーズの映画のバンドの宣伝のシーンを思い出して楽しくなってきました。勇気と自信と勘違いでレリゴーレリゴー！

Akira Komatsu is a Japanese composer and musician who started his career as a Jazz-oriented guitarist and musical instructor.
He has scored a wide range of projects, including the film "Introducing Gifu" which premiered at the Shanghai China Expo 2010, TV commercials for Precure Series Toys for BANDAI, a radio commercial for JASRAC, and many independent films.
Working in the Dramatic, Pop, Rock, Electronic, and Jazz genres, Akira's music is unique, highly emotive, and often very quirky!
Akira Komatsu studied with Jeff Richman at MI/GIT Hollywood, and he graduated with a Human Relation Award.
