2003年からエレクトリックベースを用いた即興演奏を札幌にて始める。
いまは牛乳瓶などの物やエレクトリックベースなどによって起こる出来事と、出来事に付随する音を演奏としている。
ソロのほか、川口貴大のバンドHelloやActive Recovering Music（大蔵雅彦スライドホイッスルアンサンブル）のメンバーとしても、また坂本拓也とのデュオでも活動を行う。1980年生まれ。
Satoshi Kanda started performing improvised music on the electric bass in sapporo around 2003. currently his performances consist mainly of using the bass and many milk bottles to cause happenings and their attendant sounds. he organizes the series "series" at loop-line in tokyo. Born in 1980.
