In this trip, we were able to deliver the relief suppliers to Fukushima, Miyagi and Iwate.
When driving along the coast where was struck by the tsunami, it made us realize once again how severe the damage is.
If we liken the Japanese archipelago to a human body, it wouldn't be an overstatement to say that the left arm was lost by the tsunami and earthquake, and the nuclear accident has caused cancer in the body.
The victims in Tohoku have been trying to overcome the difficulties by staying together and keeping a bright attitude. But now in the third month of the tragedy, maybe because the tense inside them has gone, they looked rather tired than before.

Kids in Sendai municipal housing evacuated from Higashimatsushima
They couldn't forget about the tsunami until recently, and by the changing of environment, they had finally got back the impishness, the grandma told us.

They are the local team who are busy working on delivering supplies to the rest 54 families, cheerfully and brightly.
A family living in Kirikiri, Yamada machi, Iwate prefecture
The daughter's house has been washed away, so the whole family is now living in grandma's house.
The daughter goes to the evacuation center and help cooking every day. It looks like the brightness of grandma is encouraging everyone.
Among all the places we have visited this time, Kesennuma showed least improvement.
Brother and sister living in Otsuchi Cho, Iwate Prefecture
They told me that they were a bit relieved because of having moved to the temporary house and being able to secure some private.
The sister was swept along by the waves for about 1 km. She told us that it felt like she was watching herself spinning around in the water from somewhere above, and that she felt so embarrassed with herself at the time.
She also told us that there were a lot of people who had the same experience of watching themselves as a third person.
And as the brother has a weak sight, he had been struggling to hold on a pole, bobbing up and down in the water and managed not to be washed away.

None of them could win the draw for temporary housing; their living condition has remained unchanged since last time we visited here.
It seems that Ishinomaki is the hardest place to win the draw for temporary housing.
A married couple we met in Fukushima city.
They are planning a concert of Nataliya Gudziy in Fukushima city.
Nataliya Gudziy is a musician who was exposed to radiation somewhere 2 km from Chernobyl of Ukraine. She is currently holding concerts around the country in order to help evacuating the children from Fukushima prefecture.

My impression about this trip
Relief goods in the evacuation centers seemed to be enough for the people living there. However, for those who have moved into the temporary housing and those who manage to live in their partially destroyed houses, the supplies including food, daily necessities are in shortage. People love the land where they were born and had spent most of their lives. I felt it would be difficult for us strangers to convince them to leave and go live in somewhere else.
Now people in Japan and in the whole world are focusing on Fukushima, but not the victims of tsunami and earthquake. This worries the victims a lot that the support for them may only for the beginning and won't be carried on in the future.
Also there are a lot of children there who have closed their hearts to others because of the lost of their friends and parents.
I think that psychological care for children is a very important issue in the future.
Temporary housing is like an apartment room, where a college student would live, with refrigerator, air condition, washing machine, TV, etc. Actually it's not as bad as I had thought.
However, once people move to the temporary housing, they will get 20 kg of rice as the last support and lose all the ongoing support including the supply of food and daily necessities. For this reason, a lot people who have lost their income sources have to give up the temporary housing and remain in the evacuation center.
After moving to the temporary housing, if they can get some minimum allowance every month until they find jobs and get everything back to track, the problem will be eased. All the provinces including cities and prefectures have their own fund for emergency use. I think it is imperative to pass the fund as allowance to people who move to the temporary housing.
I also strongly felt that individual care is needed because everyone we met had different difficulties.
Fukushima was filled with heavy atmosphere, which was something different with tsunami and earthquake.
We visited a kindergarten here.
The principal was having a headache about the situation. "The radiation dose inside is quite high but still in the safe limit, but when we move the Geiger counter to the outside playground, puddle under the slides, wet places, and plants, the alarm will go off immediately with a reading higher than 3.0uSv/h."
Because it's the third month since the Fukushima nuclear accident occurred, children here don't wear masks anymore.
The city of Fukushima is taking measures to reduce the radiation by removing top soil from the playgrounds in schools and kindergartens. Meanwhile, radiation keeps leaking from reactors, it looks to me that they are doing a vicious circle.
If they have the budget for removing soil, why don't use that budget to make offers to convince the parents who are still living in Fukushima with their children to move out to a safer place? I really wish the government can use their budget wisely. It's not too late; we can still help many children.
As 7Nature Usagi Team, we will continue to make efforts to transfer children as many as we can to a safer location by this summer.

つながるみなさまへ
津波に遭った沿岸を走って行くと、被害の大きさを改めて実感しました。
日本列島を一つの体として、例えるならば、津波と地震で左腕を失い、福島の原発事故で
癌になってしまったと言っても、過言ではないくらいの打撃です。
東北の被災者達は、みなでつながり合いこの境遇を明るさを保ちながら、越えて行くと
いう気が満ちあふれていましたが、さすがに三ヶ月目に入り、今まで気を張ってきた糸が
緩んできて、疲れが出てきているのを感じました。

津波の事が忘れられず困っていたが、環境が変わり
少しずつ、わんぱくさを取り戻してきたとおばあちゃんが話してくれた。
Team 南三陸のみなさん 残った５４件の家を回り問題解決
に奔走する地元のTeam とても明るい。
娘さんの家が流され、おばあちゃんの家で皆で暮らしている。
明るさが皆を励ましているようだ。
気仙沼は今回廻った中でも、一番まだ状況が改善していない様子だった。
仮設住宅に移り、自分達のプライベートが確保できるようになって、少しホッとしていると話してくれました。
妹さんは、津波が来て、1km程流され、ぐるぐると回っている自分をもう一人の自分が上から見ていて、なんとも恥ずかしい気持ちで一杯だったと話してくれた。
他にも同じような自分が第三者として自分を見ている体験をされた方がたくさんいたと言っていました。
お兄さんの方は、眼が不自由な為にひたすらにポールにしがみつき、上がったり下がったりしていましたと話してくれました。
石巻市のヤングママのグループ"Baby Bonds"
仮設住宅の抽選も当たらず、状況は前と全く変わっていないそうです。
福島市内でお会いしたご夫婦。
ナターシャ•グジーさん（ウクライナのチェルノブイリから２kmの
ところで被ばくされた音楽家で、こどもを福島から避難させる為にコンサートを
あちこちで開催）このご夫婦が福島市内でのナターシャサンのコンサートを計画中
福島の幼稚園で遊ぶこども達、もちろん外で遊ぶ事はできない。
今後室内だけで、どれだけ健康状態を正常に保っていれるのかを
とても心配に感じた。

今回感じた事まとめ
避難所での救援物資は足りてきているようですが、やはり仮設住宅に移った方、半壊して
二階だけをなんとか住めるくらいまで、直して住んでいる方達は、まだまだ必要な食料、日用品その他のものが、足りていないというのが現実でした。
みな生まれた土地をほんとに大切に感じていて、この土地から離れて違う場所に住む事を
説得するには、外からの遠隔ではできないと感じました。
また津波や地震の被害に遭った方達は、日本中、世界中が福島に注目していて、私たちへのサポートは、はじめだけでこの先の事をとても不安に感じていました。
またたくさんのこども達が友人や両親を失い、こころを閉じてしまっています。
このこども達への心のケアも、これからとても重要であると感じました。
仮設住宅は、大学生が始めて家を借りるようなOne Roomのイメージで、冷蔵庫、クーラー、洗濯機、テレビ等が備え付けられ、思ったよりは悪くはない条件でした。
ただ、仮設住宅に移ると米２０kgを最後に救援物資が止まってしまうという理由から、収入源を失ってしまった方達が、ほぼ避難所であれば、食料と日用品だけは確実に入るという事で、仮設住宅に移る事をあきらめて、避難所に残る方がたくさんいました。
仮設住宅に移り、仕事が見つかり軌道に乗るまで、せめてものお金を月々援助していく
ことで、だいぶこの問題は緩和されると思うのですが、町や市や県にも緊急時用のお金は
あると思うので、そのお金をなんとか仮設住宅に移って行く人達に渡して行く事は、必須であると感じました。
また、出会う人達で、それぞれ異なる条件で厳しい境遇にあるので、できる限りの個別のケアが必要であると痛感しました。
福島は、津波と地震の被害とは別の重い空気が充満していました。
ここでは、幼稚園を訪ねました。
園長先生も頭を抱えていました。室内の線量は、高いがまだ大丈夫であると感じましたが
こども遊び場、滑り台の下の水たまりや、湿った場所、植物等のそばにガイガーカウンターを近づけるとあっという間に3.0uSv/hを越えて、警報がなりました。
福島原発の事故が起きて三ヶ月目、こども達もすでにマスクをつけていません。
福島市は、学校や幼稚園の校庭の土を掻いて、線量を減らす策を取っているようですが、今現在も放射能が、漏れ続け、いたちごっこをしているかのように感じました。
土を掻く事に多大な予算を使うのであれば、一日も早く福島県内に残るたくさんのこども達の両親をいかに説得し、納得した条件の下に疎開、避難をさせるか？という事にお金を使って欲しいと思います。いまであればまだ、たくさんのこども達を助ける事ができます。
夏までになんとか、たくさんのこども達を安全な場所に移動させる事を目的に7Nature Usagi Teamも活動して行きたいと思っています。
7Nature Usagi こども救援Teamは、今後も長期に渡り、支援活動を続けて行きます。

During our stay in the earthquake-struck Miyagi Prefecture, we were able to deliver relief supplies to about 20 families through a voluntary platform by receiving requests from individuals, groups and volunteers.
This volunteer platform is a newly launched website that provides matching service for finding and requesting relief goods and volunteers. People can get information of what kind of supplies the affected people need in real time. By registering and logging into the website, people can support the necessary supplies pinpointed from any location.

We posted the following information on the platform website.
"We have just arrived in Sendai with relief supplies including food, daily necessities, children's clothing, toys, stationery. We will stay here for one week and deliver relief goods to your place by car.

In about one hour after we posted the notice, we had received 12 phone calls.
We made sure what they needed through the phone and then delivered the goods to their houses or places where they are taking shelter.

Every family we met has their own story. Some managed to rent a house to move out from the evacuation center but owned nothing, some have their own house but have never received any relief goods, some have lost the draw to move into the temporary house and have to share a small apartment with other families, and some can hardly get any support.
(The temporary houses are preferentially given to families whose houses have been completely destroyed and families with elderly or disability member. For all the other families, it’s decided by lot. It seemed the chance was quite few. We have also met a mother, whose husband was injured, and she wanted to go out working but their child is still young and they can't afford 30,000-Yen monthly fee for the daycare. Everyone in the area has their own difficulty. )
We were stunned by what we've seen from Ishinomaki to South-Sanriku, Kesennuma, Shizukawa, and Rikuzentakata area. Everything had been swallowed by the waves.
We've met a fisherman family at Rikuzen port, whose house is located on a hill. Everything around their house has been destroyed and they had been living in their house without electricity for 2 months until May 25. Water was stopped as well so they have to live on rainwater.
People are eking out their lives at places like this.
This is the large fisherman family we met at Rikuzen port. Their house is located on a 16-meter-high hill right in front of the port.
Sea level had risen 15 meters. They couldn't access the road and the electricity was finally reconnected on May 26. It seemed they had been living without electricity for more than two months. They still have to ply on the rescue vehicles for water and it seemed they had been using rainwater for bath. But everyone was so bright and already talked about starting fishing.
At the back of Onagawa port, a few families and their houses managed to survive from the waves and they are now living together and helping each other.
The whole town had been leveled by the waves and people are living under a severe condition.

These mothers are members of a group named "Baby Bonds Team" with members of young mothers who've been affected by the disaster.
Mothers from 10-15 families worked together to collect and exchange supplies.
Their houses are either destroyed or not safe to live, so they are sharing rooms or living in the evacuation center. Some people’s houses are only half destroyed and because of that, they are not able to get enough support. One mother said she wanted to work because her husband was injured, but it's impossible at the moment since she couldn't afford the 30,000-Yen monthly fee for daycare. They don't have any cosmetics items, either. When we passed them the new children clothes, kimono and Jinbei, which were donated by Choja machi- the town of fabric in Nagoya, their nervous faces turned to smiles and joy. "Can’t wait until summer to dress the kids in them." They said happily.
They need support until everything gets back on the track.

誰もが自分の旅をしなくてはならない。
地球という惑星に生まれ落ちてしまった人間は、誰もが自分の旅をしなくてはならない。このことをしばしばカヌーにたとえて話しをするネイティブの人たちと多く出会ってきた。
つまり、わたしたちはひとりひとりすべての人間に、人生という川を下るためのカヌーが一艘ずつ与えられているのであると、その人たちはいうのだ。
そのカヌーは一人乗りで、カヌーをこぐパドルも一本しかついていない。そして人生からなにかを得ようと思ったら、われわれはそのカヌーに乗り込んで、川を下るためにパドルで水を漕ぎはじめなくてはならないと。
自分の旅がどのようなものであったかを旅の途中でみんなと分けあうことはできる。今はおだやかな流れの川の旅がどんなに冒険にみちたものであったかをおもしろおかしく語ることもできる。
どこにどんな障害物が待ちかまえているか、とか、天気と川の流れの関係などの話も、聞けばそれなりに役に立つだろう。だがひとつだけはっきりしているのは、わたしはあなたのカヌーを漕ぐことはできないということである。
人は自分のカヌーは自分で漕がなくてはならない。

今回は、東日本大震災で被災した宮城県を中心にボランティアプラットホームを通して、（個人、グループ、ボランティア）からの要請を受けて、約２０家族に救援物資を運びました。
このボランティアプラットフォームとは、新しく立ち上がったサイトで、物資とボランティアを探せる•募集できるサイトで、被災された方々の希望する物資等をオンタイムで確認でき、登録してログインする事で、現地までいかなくても、遠い場所からでもピンポイントで、必要な物資をサポートする事ができます。

この告知をして約１時間で、１２件もの電話がありました。
この電話でさらに必要とする救援物資を聞き、避難されている場所または自宅にて避難生活を送っている家を回って行きました。

避難所から、自力で家を借りたが何もない家族、家は残ったが、救援物資が届かない家族、その他仮設住宅への抽選が当たらない為にいくつかの家族で狭いアパートに住んでいる家族、避難所が優先のため、あまり救援物資が届かない家族等、様々でした。
（仮設住宅は全壊した家族、お年寄りのいる家族、障害者を持つ家族等が優先となり、その他の家族は抽選となり、これもまた厳しい状態にあるようです。旦那さんがけがをしていて、働きに出たいがこどもが小さい為に保育園に預けたいが、保育園料月３万円を支払う事ができない等、みなそれぞれに違う厳しい状況に置かれていました。）
石巻から南三陸ー気仙沼ー静川ー陸前高田エリアは、ものすごい光景が広がっています。波は全てを飲み込んでしまいました。
陸前港でお会いした漁師のご家族は、回りは何もなくなった場所の高台にある自宅
で５月２５日までの２ヶ月間電気のない生活をしたそうです。水も通っていなく、雨水を利用して生活していました。
このような場所でかろうじて生活している方がいます。
陸前港の漁師の大家族で、港の目の前１６mの高台があり、そこに家がありました。
１５mまで、海面が上がってきて、道は通る事ができず、電気が通ったのは５／２６日
前後で、約２ヶ月間電気なしで、生活されていたそうです。水はまだ救援車を待つ状態で
お風呂等も雨水を利用していました。でもみなさん明るく、また漁を始めると話していらっしゃいました。
女川町の現状2011.5.29
女川港の奥にかろうじて残った、何軒かの方達が、協力し合って生活しています。
ここの町は壊滅状態で、とても厳しい状況での生活状態でした。
このお母さん達は、石巻で被災されたヤングママのグループ"Baby Bonds Team"です。
１０ー１５家族のママ達が協力し合って、物資を集めたり、交換したりしています。
家が全壊してない人もいるのですが、そこに住む事ができず、避難所生活または、みなで狭い部屋をシャアして、生活しています。家が壊れていないという理由に十分なサポートが滞っている状態です。旦那さんがけがをして、仕事をしなければいけないのだが、こどもを保育園に預けるのも月３万円。今の状態では、無理です。お化粧品も全くないようです。名古屋の繊維の町長者町のみなさんから頂いた、新しいこども用の浴衣やじんべえを
渡した時は、とても緊張してる顔が、明るくなって「これを夏にこどもに着せる楽しみができた。」と笑顔になって、とても明るい雰囲気に包まれました。
軌道に乗るまでは、サポートが必要です。
7Nature Usagi こども救援Teamは、今後も長期に渡り、支援活動を続けて行きます。

7 NATURE USAGI Japan Kids Relief Action Report & Request Miyagi(Sendai seaport-Watari)
Dear Friends in Japan and throughout the world.
7 Nature Usagi Kids Relief Assistance Team have delivered the relief supplies donated from Miyagi-Sendai Port-Watari and held the Earth Kids Workshop in the evacuation center of Okuma Elementary School. We presented the messages written on a 10-meter cloth by children from eastern and western Japan to people in the evacuation center, and received another 10-meter massage from them to everyone in the country. When I visited the evacuation center and areas that had been affected by tsunami, what I felt most strongly was that the supplies were not enough. A lot of supplies were delivered at first and it seemed that many areas had once put a STOP to the supplies. Then medias turned their focus to Fukushima, and no continuous information has been provided since then, resulting in the necessary supplies being kept out. When I talked with people who have been affected by the disaster, they said they wished people, even just curious onlookers, can come to the area and look at the actual state by themselves. The area that has been destroyed by tsunami is in eastern Japan, about 500 km long and 2 to 3 km wide. Even everyone in Japan came to help, it wouldn't be enough. I felt that a support system with a long span of around 5 to 10 years is essential for the recovery. Children in the evacuation center were so energetic that I felt that we are the one who got encouraged.

7Nature Usagi こども救援支援Teamで、宮城ー仙台港ー亘理でみなさんから支援して頂いたこども救援物資を届け、逢隈小学校の避難所にてEarth Kids Workshopを行いました。関東と西日本のこどもたちからのメッセージの布１０mをみなに渡して、今度はこちらから全国に向けて１０mのメッセージを描いて貰いました。今回津波の被害に遭った場所、避難所を訪ねて一番感じた事は、物資が足りていないということです。はじめのうちはたくさんの物資が届き、いったんはSTOPという場所が多かったようですが、みな福島の方にメディアも集中していて、必要な物資が停まっています。５年−１０年くらいの長いスパンでのサポート体制が必須であると感じました。こども達はもうほんとに元気...で、僕らが逆に元気を貰いました。
一番高い場所が郡山1.55マイクロシーベルトでした。場所によっては東京と変わらない場所もあり0.08マイクロシーベルトの場所も結構ありました。
今後も引き続きこども救援物資を募ります。
今後も随時必要な物が変わってくると思うのですが、新しいこども衣服、おもちゃ、おかし、文房具、日用雑貨、下着（おとな／こども新しいもの）、Baby Items、日用品（虫除け、柔軟剤、キッチンハイター、シャンプー、リンス）等です。
こども救援物資が集まり次第、第二便が被災地に行きます。

Even though we’ve always been told that it’s a safe and green power, in the end, an accident happened and radiation is being leaked!! It’s dangerous!! It’s frightening!! To boot, the rescue in areas affected by the disaster is being set back, and the neighboring fishes, vegetables, houses, everything, has been ruined. Really, give me a break. We’d be better off getting rid of nuclear power at once.
As this really pisses me off, let’s trigger a super huge demonstration and show them what we really want!

There is nothing safe about nuclear energy, not to mention nuclear weapons. In fact, since the very first moment work has begun on them, it was guaranteed to lead to extreme disasters. This guarantee will stay in place not only for as long as nuclear installations exist, but thanks to the use of past and present that guarantee will stay in place for billions of years to come. The half life of some radioactive material is so long that it will remain radioactive for as long as the planet has already existed, and all this waste is now kept in places that can never ever contain it safely that long. Erosion and the movements of the earth’s crust will open up the vaults to release the deadly stuff. The only good place for this material was where it came from: deep underground, hidden by the earth’s crust. There’s no real way for us to put it back there. Away with nuclear power and weapons!!

全国の、世界中のつながっている皆様。
僕たちは2008年から「僕たちが子どもたちの未来の為に今出来る事をしよう」、"art を通してEarthを考える"をテーマに、POWWOW-aeaa Earth Kids Projectというワークショップ活動を行っています。
僕たちは、未来ある子どもたちに元気をあたえること。を、こんな時代だからこそ、アクションしていこうと思います。
それは、現地にのこって、大変な現状におかれている子たち。遊んできた地を離れ、避難をしているこ子たち。そして、遠いけれど毎日ニュースや親の動向から不安を察知している子たち。に元気をあたえたい。
ワークショップでは"7 NATURE USAGI" 紙芝居もおこないながら、被災地にいる子どもたち、避難所にいる子どもたち、両親をなくし孤児になってしまった子どもたち、日々ニュースや両親の話で不安を察知している子どもたちに、元気をだしてもらう事をおこなっていこうと思います。
そのアクションの中で、被害がない地域では、子どもたちのものを中心に不要になった物や、気持ちのこもったものを預かって、それを必要としている子たちに渡そうと思います。
僕らのまわりには、ぞくぞくと現地に入って、出来ることをしている人たちがいます。
「Kids to move」という避難地域から安全な場所に連れだしているムーブメント。キャンドルジュンくんは何回か物資を持っていって、火を灯す作業。子供地球基金も物資の運搬。ホーボージュンさんは被災地の瓦礫撤去。そして現地で届ききっていない物資を運搬する役割。そういう人たちとつながりを持って、動けることから始めようと思います。
そこで、つながっている人達に、なにか不要になったものが集められるのであったら、僕達に送ってください。子どもまわりのものを中心になんでも嬉しいです。
今、日本に限らず、世界中に居る知り合い達にもお願いしています。４月・５月には西宮・富士・富山・横浜・代々木公園にいって、そういったものを集めるアクションをします。集まったものは僕達の動けるタイミングで、被災地の人たちに渡しに行こうと思います。
集めようとしている物：子どもたちに譲っても良い物
みんな、家が流されたり、原発の近くだったりして、自分のものが手元にない状態だと思う。
これから復興するのに、全国の、世界の子どもたちからモノというメッセージを届けられたら、絶対子どもたちは感受性豊かだから、元気になるとおもう。
だから、服とか、靴とか、本とか、おもちゃとか、なんでも譲り受けたら嬉しいはず。なので、特に指定はありません。
できることから。自分のタイミングで。元気にしよう。

＊最初の絵に登場するのは、おばあちゃん（自然の象徴）と黒いウサギ（テクノロジーの象徴）とジョバンナ（スピリットの象徴）です。
このシーンでは、おばあちゃんが溺れ、黒いウサギはあたふたしています。
そこにジョバンナが現れて、おばあちゃんを助けたいなら、今しかないと黒いウサギに語りかけ、手を黒いウサギの胸に触れます。
すると黒いウサギのこころは温かくなり、おばあちゃんを助けに行きます。
この瞬間に黒いウサギ（テクノロジー）は方向転換して、おばあちゃん（自然）とジョバンナ（スピリット）と手をつなぎます。
今私たちには、まさにこの時が訪れているのだと感じます。

日本そして世界へ ホピ族からのメッセージ

ホピは今、バランスを失ったこの私たちの世界で危機に直面した日本の人々のために、そして世界の人々のために祈っている。
われわれは現在、みな母なる地球の大きな変化の時のなかにおり、今起きていることはすでにわれわれのエルダーによって以前から予言されていた。われわれの予言も、われわれの儀式も、地球のわれわれの聖なる大地が泣いていることを伝えている。そしてわれわれの子供たちは、彼らの未来のためにホピがバランスを回復してくれることを求めはじめた。

われわれのエルダーたちは、この幾多の変化のなかをいかに通り抜けるかについて、導きを与えてくれていた。人類は今すべてのいのちが従うことになる細い道を選びつつあり、われわれはいつかこの日が来ることを知っていた。
ホピとして、われわれは、あなたがわれわれの仲間に加わり、母なる地球とすべてのいのちのバランスをとるための祈りの輪に加わることを求める。われわれは、たくさんの祈りをとおして多くの良きハートと共に祈ることで、われわれのエルダーたちが言っていたように、この間に起きた出来事の衝撃を軽減することが出来ると信じている。
ダライラマや世界の人々と共に、日本と地球とすべてのいのちのために癒しを送るための祈りに、われわれはホピとして加わる。この変化の時にあって、われわれは世界のすべての人々に、よりバランスのとれた生き方に戻ることを求める。
