マイク・ホンダ

マイク・ホンダ（Mike Honda, 本名:Michael Makoto Honda, 1941年6月17日 - ）はアメリカの政治家。漢字表記は本田実。

• プロフィール

日系アメリカ人としてカリフォルニア州に生まれる。戦時中には日系人強制収容所に入れられた。
現在、民主党のカリフォルニア州第15下院議員選挙区選出（シリコンバレーも包括）の下院議員として活躍している。

• 歴史問題や人権擁護活動を幅広く行っており、日系人の名誉回復や中国のチベット弾圧への批判などもおこなっている。
• 日本政府への慰安婦に対する謝罪要求決議案を推進したことから、日本の右派から、出自は朝鮮人などというデマを執拗に流されている。

中国政府の人権問題に関しては、北京で起きた天安門事件を非難する米国下院の決議に2004年と2006年に賛成票を投じている。
