　米景気対策法案に、米国産品を優先的に購入するという「バイ・アメリカン条項」が残ったことが懸念される。
　法案は国際協定に反しないように運用するとしているが、基準はあいまいだ。米国はＧ７声明に沿い、保護主義圧力を排除しなければならない。

　鉄鋼とかについていうなら資本は外資なんだけどね。
　ビッグスリーの問題とかもざっくりいうと北部であって南部のほうは日本の車の製造工場がしっかりしていた。というか日本も製造拠点をグローバルに展開している。

朝日社説　衛星の衝突―宇宙ゴミの恐怖が現実に : asahi.com（朝日新聞社）：社説

宇宙ゴミは、米国の宇宙監視センターが追跡している１０センチ以上のものだけで約１万３千個にのぼる。それより小さいものを含めれば、何千万個にもなると推測される。

　そう一応追跡はされている。今回の衝突でそれが増える。

　衛星の設計や打ち上げ、衛星の寿命が尽きた後など、段階ごとにゴミを出さないためのガイドラインがある。用済みの衛星をできるだけ早く落下させるなど、さらにゴミを減らす技術開発の余地もあるのではないか。

　高度の問題とかもある。というか、こいうのは一般論で議論しないで識者に取材して書くとよいと思うけど。

朝日社説　行政委員―報酬や人事を見直そう : asahi.com（朝日新聞社）：社説

　行政委員とは何か、どれほどの人が知っているだろう。

　知っていると言っていいかな。似たようなものの下っ端の無給バージョンがあって身近な人がやっている。ひどい話だよ。老人が奮闘して社会を支えているのだ。

　冬型の天気に戻る。昨日の水泳の疲れは心地よい程度。夢も覚えていない。雑多に本などを読み、関心事はあるのだがどうも世間の関心からはずれてきている。こういうとなんだがネットの世界もよくわからなくなってきている。まあ、そういう対象はそもそも幻影かもしれない。そういえば世間にはブログを書ける環境と表現力も時間もあっても書かない人がいる……と書いてみて自分もそういう面はある。

村上さんのエルサレム賞受賞をめぐっては、パレスチナ問題に取り組む民間団体などから受賞の辞退を求める声が上がっていましたが、村上さんは「小説家は自分の目で見たもの、手で触れたもの以外は信頼できないので、わたしは自分自身の目で現実を見、話をしたいと思った」と述べました。そのうえで、村上さんは「１つだけ皆さんにお伝えしたいことがある。われわれは皆、国籍や宗教を越えた存在であり、壊れやすい卵だ。今、われわれは高く、強く、冷たい壁に直面し勝てそうもないように思える。しかし、人間のユニークさかけがえのなさ、ともに行動することによって得られる温かさを信じるべきだ」と述べ、個人の尊厳を尊重することの大切さを訴えました。
