こんにちは。彼の日本に来た際(2004年)のラフマニノフのピアノ協奏曲３番は忘れられません。ロシア流のダイナミックな演奏が当時中学生ながら、私の脳裏に強く刻まれています。その彼もこれからがピアニストとしての「深み」が出てくる年齢だと思います。今後の演奏がより楽しみです。

ここでのwizardなのですが、ふつうは「魔法使い(男性)」と訳したりします。ブロンフマンさんの演奏を聴く限りでは、ここのas merely a technical wizard of large soundは「ただの大音量の技巧の『天才』として」と訳すのが適切だと思います。日本語でも、鬼に例えて「鬼才」という表現があります。(Minnesota)
