頼らざるを得ない

多少は食料を外国から輸入しても良い。ただ、食料自給率を上げることもせず、食料を外国に頼らざるを得ない状況にしてしまうのはいかがなものかと思う。 It is acceptable to import some food from foreign countries.However, it is not a good idea to reduce food self-sufficiency and make people have to rely on foreign countries for food.
